Agree all. And as the revenues become questionable, the frontier labs practices will necessarily become (more) questionable. Vicious cycle.
To avert that dynamic, the frontier labs must deflect and otherwise act to prevent this controversy from breaking through. Both to the general public, but also more specifically to the firms' decision-makers. All of whom are generally aware of the IP issues, and some of whom are aware of what happened with Cursor and Figma, but with few exceptions have not yet themselves acted to protect their property.
Anthropic would publish audited financial statements, if they saw it to be in their interest.
My monthly bills are similar to this, near Arkansas.

Whereas in the US, where I live, everything that has been mostly socialized (housing, health & education) has become wildly unaffordable.
Is this a PG&E thing or a California thing ?
Put differently, where in California can one top out at 14c/kwh for electricity ?
Emissions requirements create this same result in many parts of the US.
That depends on whether one lives in a politically diverse state.
There are a billion people in Asia who want but do not have air conditioning and cars.
Is XTX good for the $10M ?
There are a lot of people who got burnt by FTX grants and prizes ...

Freedom of speech ... peace ... yeah, who does this guy think he is ?
In principle yes, it is enough time, however it is important not to underestimate our novel hostility to doing anything both meaningful and new.
It is not a question of what California wants. California is attempting to coerce. X is arguing that CA's coercion violates both the 1st amendment and Section 230. Glad to engage further if you or others want to address the merits of those arguments. No need to impugn intent onto specific individuals.
Yes, reading this article reminded me of Steward Brand, who drives around with earthquake tools in the trunk of his car.
Are you aware that the Editor-in-Chief of VF lives in a $10 million Brooklyn brownstone ?
unlocks the sunroofTrust me, they will pay more to lock it. Now promote me.
First we start with our policy agenda. Then we co-opt institutions. From there, some of us get rich, others famous, and then there is the narrative. You see the narrative tells us we have to do. When we start to pursue the agenda, the problem becomes worse. Since we have co-opted the institutions, the consensus is that it is because we are not doing enough. Which means we really should be doing more. Not different, oh no, remember the agenda, but do not talk about the agenda. We talk about the narrative.
For anyone not in Brooklyn this morning, it is snowing here right now.

Humans have always been part of the natural ecosystem alongside wildlife.
What is new is the virus gets on a plane and goes 500 mph.
That is summer gaps. Now how about lockdowns?
