diesel_async works great, and it's made by the lead diesel maintainer
Is this even a standard worth comparing ourselves to? That’s a bar so low that “at least we don’t …” doesn’t even make sense
Just tried a gemini from them this month, and the software support is awful. Highly recommend against
Theres a c compiler?? Can you share a link?
It does look like all the pocket models can run mainline, hadn't thought about the older ones

I really liked the form factor of the old Vaio P's, and got a Gemini PDA from the most recent sale so I could use VSCode a bit while traveling. However, the fork of Debian that it uses seems to have stop being maintained years ago, and not much was upstreamed. Are there any good options in the 6"-8" screen size that can run a mainline (or close) kernel?
I get the impression that devs are happy about RISCV and willing to port things to it, not so much for POWER. Also China seems to be pursuing RISCV heavily.
That one frustrates me so much. They’re completely different words!
sounds like time to make a “hit the big green button” github action
And everyone likes biglaw attorneys and thinks that they’re well adjusted people too
Do you have a public repo for that yet? (Assuming you're planning to open-source)
I'm not sure that's a great take. Swift's support for Linux is reputed to be bad (not sure what the actual case is) and I think that really hinders adoption. It's a nice language that is very expressive. I would use it for small projects over rust as it has a large standard library if not for the cross-platform difficulties.
Mold (the linker) uses it
