Re:Ask HN: Git workflow in local? on Wednesday April 19, 2017 @10:03AM (#14147746)
We have an application code (<50 files for now. can grow) that multiple devs work with. I maintain the master copy of it in a server where git available. I'm thinking of having version control with git for this codebase.

The other devs should be able to pull and push changes to it. I'm looking for an optimal workflow that'll save us some headaches later.

Ask HN: Git workflow in local?

Anyone collobarate on the same server with multiple devlopers?I have this restricted server where I cannot run a daemon or a simple http server. So, We will have work on the same repo.Is there any established workflow for this? I'm a git beginner.

Re:Web Scraping 101 with Python on Sunday March 10, 2013 @11:38PM (#5354766)
I use http://scraperwiki.com It's pretty neat and handy! For beginners here's a tutorial I wrote sometime back http://blog.sanspace.in/scraperwiki/
The site doesn't seem to work. I am unable to sign up. It takes me to github auth. But, while returning from github it says something went wrong.
I am a C developer and I work personally on PHP and have written some utility scripts using python. I don't stick to a language. I am a quick learner and I am flexible.

I would like to start with a small tasks / modules as of now until I get a hold on things.

Thought of doing both. What would you suggest? Any favorites?
