I think Awesome Screenshot is "bad" extension too, but purging from the store is too much.

Re:Show HN: Dependency Update as a Service on Saturday October 04, 2014 @07:15AM (#8409252)
Appreciate any feedback :)

We want programmers to focus on their problem, not on dependency hell. We build 'Bundle Update as a Service' for Ruby project, if you activate repo, then Tachikoma.io executes `bundle update`, and send pull request. To merge, or not to merge: that is only you should do. CI service(e.g. TravisCI, CircleCI) will help you. 'David Update as a Service' for Node.js and 'Carton Update as a Service' for Perl too.

Here is the link to the service concept from my Travis-CI Meetup talk: http://sanemat.github.io/talks/20140917-travis-ci-meetup-tac...

Thanks!

Re:Ask HN: How do you name your servers? on Wednesday October 01, 2014 @09:47PM (#8399030)
I name 'mouse-prodction-8' for Docker host on Digital Ocean. 'mouse' is code name for app, 'production' is environment, '8' is auto incremental number. I name '11142943683383068069' for Docker guest, Date-relative UUID generation https://github.com/recurly/druuid I'm old :(

Re:Ask HN: Authentication with Angular/Rails? on Wednesday October 01, 2014 @06:25AM (#8393624)
I use cookie based authentication, like houndci.com https://github.com/thoughtbot/hound I think token based authentication (rails-api) is better, but most of my technical background is rails.
I put my site on GitHub pages, HostingDetector detects this on Fastly. I don't know GitHub uses Fastly yet, thanks! http://www.fastly.com/customers/github/
