The Facebook login feature isn't working with the API. Getting massive headache emails now. Luckily we have lots of alternative login methods.

I hope people will see the importance of not putting all of your eggs in one authentication basket.

I use it in production. You will always have 404's and this is what I feel to be a meaningful 404.

No problem at all. The HTML version works just fine and I prefer HTML versions to PDF's anyway.

Looks fantastic for what it's worth! :)

I believe anyone else on your team will waste a lot of time and effort figuring out the spaghetti code you wrote.

Think. Then code.

Ask HN: Does anyone want to build a programming language reference with me?

I have noticed that there is no structured central hub for referencing programming languages. How to implement certain things in them, what terminology means etc.Stackoverflow has a lot of this information but not in a structured way and the quality of answers vary widely. My idea would be to make a central service, which is completely free, which people contribute to (based on guidelines) to...

Ah ok that makes sense. Thanks for the clarity :)
I signed up my project. But the form seems to be the standard form you guys use for everything else. There were no fields for the specifics that are defined on the open source page.

I think it would be clearer if you had a slightly customised form for the process

Waste of money if you ask me. My opinion of this theme is that it provides a very poor user experience. The buttons do not look clickable at all. Unless you hover over them, which is useless on a mobile device

I much prefer Almost flat UI such as Gmail and http://websymphony.net/almost-flat-ui

Ask HN: Why is Amazon's HTML crazy?

If you view the source on any product page you have around 100 lines of whitespace and the <title> isn't found until line 3,500-ishNot to mention all of their CSS is inlineWhy is it like this? It seems to me it is far more complex than it needs to be

A lot of companies now have something along the following in their listed requirements:BA/BS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience desirable. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience. That example is from Google Ireland. So how much better than someone with a degree do you need to be? Or are most jobs out their based entirely off merit and not off a piece of paper?
