This is Hacker News. That comment was way more positive than I expected for something like this and so I assumed this must be pretty awesome
I am surprised this is the top comment. Yes, I am sure they have done the paperwork for these "tons of thousands of dollars." I think it is unlikely that many shareholders are concerned about this exercise
How much have cryptocurrency non-scams earned owners in 2021?
It just seems like someone here would be able to figure it out somehow.
Re:Show HN: Books Paul Graham recommended on Twitter on Wednesday August 05, 2020 @03:44PM (#24064762)
Thanks for this, great list and PGs context is great to have next to the recommendations. The PG glamour shot may have been what made it come off like you were idolizing him
Re:How to brainstorm great business ideas on Friday February 28, 2020 @07:22PM (#22447677)
And sometimes ideas for "problems people don't know they have" are not good. I would guess this is more common.
Re:YouTube videos that have almost zero previous views on Monday July 15, 2019 @12:41AM (#20438178)

Re:Soylent Closes $50M Series B Round Led by GV on Thursday May 04, 2017 @12:45PM (#14266354)
I guess it depends how you use it. I keep it in my car as a replacement for fast food when I'm short on time and I'm healthier overall
Re:Amazon peer-to-peer selling on Saturday December 31, 2016 @08:46PM (#13294257)
Agreed. I also think such a spinoff would do well against ebay. I tried using paypal/ebay yesterday and gave up after 3 hours of trying to get a payment to go through. It was like going back in time to the 90s
Agreed. Anecdotally, uncharismatic, feminine pushovers seem to be less effective in leadership positions.
A complete blackout of anything the political community decides is important is strange. I understand the danger of political flame wars, but interesting issues will often become politicized. Climate change and privacy have obviously become political, but that doesn't make those topics less interesting intellectually.

Re:My Unhappy Life as a Climate Heretic on Sunday December 04, 2016 @01:22AM (#13099011)
