Relieved to see checks and balances in action, and a largely Trump-appointed Supreme Court enforcing limits set by law

I'm a big fan of local-first. InstantDB has productized it – worth looking into if you're interested in taking a local-first approach.

Excited for this & curious how it will compare with Dia.

Launch site feels busy, though.

Ask HN: Developer Experience with RAG

Hey HN,A friend and I are researching the RAG development process.Specifically, we want to learn about the developer experience of building RAG pipelines and memory for AI.Do you have experience building RAG pipelines? If so, what did you find most challenging? How do you think the process could be improved? We're exploring everything from document parsing, embedding, and chunking to vector and...

Hey everyone,

My buddy and I are investigating the AI developer experience – specifically the process of working with RAG, GraphRag, and vector databases.

If you're a developer with experience in these domains, we'd love to hear from you.

Will be a big help. Thanks in advance!!

Nice work! Really cool.
I'm building an AI product management co-pilot (https://magical.pm) that helps PMs write requirements faster.

Here is my approach:

1. Engineering-As-Marketing: Building features that have the potential to create word-of-mouth growth (e.g., the AI will write product requirements in Shakespearean sonnets: https://www.magical.pm/?goofballModal=true).

2. Programmatic SEO: Sitemap has over 1,000 keyword-rich pages (no AI). To accomplish this, I leverage my app's Templates feature and tools that pair well with my app (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc).

3. Blog: Product management blog, designed to find traction in product management communities.

While my SEO grows, I'm improving the product's usefulness. Once it is ready, I will launch it via ProductHunt and begin a bigger marketing push (increased content marketing, community outreach, etc).

Hi HN,In my spare time, I’m building Magical.pm, an AI product management co-pilot that generates software requirements from natural language.A few weeks ago, I was at a writing event here in NYC, and someone joked about adding "Poem mode" to Magical. We thought it would be funny if Magical returned requirements in sonnet form. When I got home, I realized it would be easy to implement—as simple...

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (March 2025) on Monday March 31, 2025 @11:20AM (#43536061)
I'm building Magical.pm – an AI product management co-pilot.

Today, it generates clean, formatted product requirements from natural language and includes templates for different use cases (bug fixes, usability adjustments, etc.).

Soon, it will use RAG to incorporate knowledge of your system into the product requirements and perform inference on key down to help product managers write better specs with AI.

Lu.ma is great.
Re:Apple squandered the Holy Grail on Monday January 06, 2025 @07:24PM (#42617759)
While I agree with the post's sentiment, its assessment of Apple Intelligence overlooks its incomplete rollout, with most of the meaningful, step-change features (e.g., Siri’s contextual awareness) scheduled for release in 2025 at the earliest.

In my view, Private Cloud Compute and Apple Intelligence, together with the ubiquity of Apple devices, position Apple as a leading candidate to realize the widespread, AI-enabled transformation of personal computing discussed in the post — with tasks requiring less energy and cognitive load than they do today for the general consumer.

So excited by projects like these – I hope the future of computing is spatial.
Your website looks awesome. Congratulations on the launch!
Re:Figma Slides on Wednesday June 26, 2024 @03:16PM (#40803476)
Figma is already my favorite way to design presentations, but the lack of presentation tools like presenter notes has prevented me from switching from traditional tools.

Happy that the Figma product team identified this as an opportunity worth investing in. Figma's overall product trajectory is exceeding my expectations.

As a non-technical product manager, this tool could be valuable to me if it works as well as the website illustrates.

I agree with the concern expressed in other comments re: price, especially considering the lack of a free tier or trial.

The marketing site is great. Congrats on your launch!
