I wonder how hard it is to create a really sturdy USB-C plug. The connector on all of the USB-C cables I have does seem a little flimsy.
I have an YubiKey 5 NFC on the keychan and it has handled the abuse over the years just fine.
How so? When replanting clear cuts here in Sweden with pine or fir each tree takes a few seconds to plant - you stamp your tool in to the ground which makes a hole, drop the plant down, stomp the ground and then your off to the next. There is also no need to tend to them afterwards (except treatment to deter deer/elks).
Exactly. A low end micro-controller would do the trick but a Raspberry Pi is much more accessible - almost anyone can get one fairly quickly and if they themselves don't have the knowledge to do the setup they most likely know someone who can help.
Yes, the "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" was unfortunately reset for me too.
Yes, the Raspberry Pi models are a little confusing, especially with the '+' versions and PCB-revisions. But I don't think the purpose of the parent comment was to say that it was worse than others, more of a heads-up to someone looking to order a model to take a second look and verify the specifications.
Isn't "True Love Waits" detected as the most depressing? The happiest one is "15 steps".
Thanks for the documentary link!
Logs which showed which towers a specific cellphone was connected to was important evidence in the 1999 murder case covered by the SERIAL podcast.
I guess that it is a "Firefox issue". I have the same problem with Firefox under Windows 7 (2560x1440, newly calibrated screen). The font renders a little better in Chrome and in IE 11 it looks good.
I get the same error with Firefox 37.0.2 (Win7).

It's sad that TCD didn't get enough players to keep it going longer. I guess it's niche game with a limited audience but it really do deserve to get more attention. It has imho a great theme and the idea is very well executed.
Cordial Minuet as a real money game which requires skill probably has a larger audience and I hope it will do well. If not, artistic integrity aside, it might be worth to relaunch it with an "easier theme".
I'm hoping to get my hands on one of the amulets, but playing from Europe timezones I guess the chance is low (not that many players around).
A fun article. Very clickbaity title though.
I've have been playing Cordial Minuet for a couple of days and I really like it. I will be spending too much time with it just like I did with The Castle Doctrine.

Around where I live there is a road where the limit changes from 70 km/h to 50 km/h due to a pedestrian crossing. They also placed a speed camera just after the crossing. When driving there I always find my self checking and double checking my vehicle speed and not paying full attention to the crossing. But in this specific case I guess that the "forced" speed reduction due to the camera is a bigger benefit (fewer accidents and less serious if they do happen) than the distraction caused by it.
Yes, some identifier would be nice so that it would be possible to look up the info in for example the "Correctional Facility Locator 2010".
For example this facility looks interesting (looks more like some farm):

Works from Europe. Probably just overloaded. First I got a time-out, then the countdown page and now I get a "502 bad gateway" error.
No problem here with Firefox 34.0.5
or FTP:s or Direct Connect...

It might look good on "standard" resolutions but unfortunately it doesn't handle Windows 8.1 scaling and a high resolution monitor that well. For example the "Usage" tab is unusable for me with fonts cut off in half and labels to the diagrams unreadable.
As mentioned above (by guelo), an OLED screens power consumption also varies with the gray level of the displayed image.
