I feel like this would be better as a federation. Each project on its own. Some shared resources and interconnection.
Even better if there was a tiny seed funding mechanism. And then some clever growth funding.
There's prior attempts in this general area, pre AI, like Zebras Unite that have some lessons.

What was the recent site here on HN that let you do this but with signs and QR codes?
Higher education isn't just about facts or a career; it's mostly about creating citizens
And my point is you, like Trump and Kobach, can't prove there is a voting fraud problem so instead share, at best, anecdotes.
Not sure why your OG post is still up.
Voter ID solves a non-existent fraud problem and does so by making voting harder.
This sounds like some third-hand anecdata. Trump et al (Chris Kobach, for one) have spent millions of dollars trying to find voter fraud and they have all come up with zilch.
And you have some memory of some account from someone 12 years ago in a state you can't remember saying that a third of voters had someone pretend to be them?
If this were close to true, it wouldn't be some blog post that you can't remember; it would have been a national scandal and it would have been something that we would never forget because the election stealer conspiracy theorists would never let it go.
Really, you should just delete this post as it's irresponsible and lacks any data.
Not sure why the cloudflare option to a personal gmail, and then setting up Send as in Gmail doesn't work for OP.

Fine for small needs.
And then when bigger pay $5 a month per email address to a decent provider. At that point, you're spending more energy to save money than it's worth.
I asked Claude to estimate the cumulative salaries of US only journalists over the last hundred years:
$500B for all kinds including TV and online
$300B for newsrooms including all staff
$140B for newsroom reporters only
So yeah, I think the price of the information ingested is way higher than training costs
Too true. I worked there.
Ask Jeeves hired hundreds of cheap liberal arts majors to classify data, some users thought Jeeves was real, the stock spiked when big companies hired Jeeves to automate support thinking it was a silver bullet, and the whole thing collapsed when a better model came along, and it degenerated into ripping off rubes with bottom of the barrel ads.

The site has a client-side registration wall loaded by JavaScript to obscure the full text that is already loaded in your browser.
If scripts are turned off in your browser or if you press a reader mode button, those kinds of registration walls won't load.
It's written by Ed Yong, who is a national treasure.
Hell yes, you should read it.
So Wargames is a documentary
I'll put my money where my mouth is. We at Outpost will host your site on Ghost for a year for free and migrate all your substack subscribers, with the only caveats that 1) you put a tip jar link (either to Ghost's or Outpost's) at the end of every email with some text like support us being on an indie platform and 2) at the end of the year or earlier report how it went.
With 66k subscribers you could cover that without even really trying by setting up a $5/month donation tier or putting a tip jar on the site. With a tiny bit of effort, you could make thousands a month.
Substack lets you get away with sending that many emails without attempting to monetize because you pay them in clout and with your reader data.
I think they are getting the better deal given how good your writing is and your reputation.
You could do the same thing through Ghost, which has an API, and not be using a service that proudly platforms the Tates and nazis.
Substack notes is non exportable; the newsletter now no longer have a link to read it on your site on substack and instead link to the substack app, and subscriptions started in the app pay Substack through Apple and Google and you can't export them.
Substack has become a roach motel but they pretend otherwise
Not true. Ghost sites grow quite well and much of Substack's network effects don't turn into real subscribers
I can only hope that bigger companies go all in on agents integrated into slack-like software. More fake work, slower orgs, and easier targets for companies that prioritize building stuff over fetishizing overengineered IRC with emojis pretending to be productivity software.
Just chiming in that there are lots of threats that aren't state level attackers. In fact for most people the threat is never gonna be the border guard. It's your parents, an abusive partner, a sibling, a school admin or an employer.
Just because something does work vs the NSA or the FBI, that doesn't make it useless

For those interested in early internet pioneers, Wired did a collab with the internet society around the 1st group of folks inducted into the Hall of Fame, where wired independently wrote profiles of almost all of them.

They are spreading but the tech bro forums, as always, hate it. Make your case creative and not another grey 3d printed case? You'll either get ignored or condescended to.
Post your creation on a social channel not dominated by white bros?
You are fake, a culture miner and engagement farming.
See the post above for a textbook way of rejecting anyone who isn't a white tech bro.
