From the perspective of an American who grew up in the burbs and now lives in SF, this is an interesting read.

I was really sure this was going to be an April Fools' Day joke. Still not sure if it is.
Wow. I closed my Bank of America account and have been depending on Simple alone for a while now. I was really looking forward to seeing Simple flourish on their own, but hey, congrats to them! Let's hope for the best here.

It's an interesting concept, though I don't know if I understand how this will help people improve their sex life. It's just about sharing secrets anonymously, right?
Re:Why We'll Never Meet Aliens on Friday May 03, 2013 @07:31PM (#5653261)
It's a really interesting and complex topic to think about. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to make arguments one way or another, but I'd like to think that two species from different planets could happen upon each other at least by accident, in the same way that I, as a human, encounter an ant on the sidewalk. We're the most advanced on the planet; we may not care to interact with every living being on Earth, but that doesn't mean we won't step on them while moving from point A to B.

If you still don't get what it's about, just take a few minutes to join and explore the different applications that are available. At the risk of appearing spammy, here are some invites to the free tier:
