No issues here either, but I've stuck to version 14 and refuse to update after reading so many reports of issues with lag.
A lot of smaller employers will still do paper checks, not sure if it's because of the cost associated with having a direct deposit system. But also, a subset of people do not trust banks or are unable to have direct deposits. They usually use those check-cashing shops who give out cash for a % fee.

No -- it has be 'over time' which can be inferred to mean more than 2 hours.

Same reason other IDEs exist. VS Code is just the tip of the iceberg.

If they wanted to realize those gains, they would have to sell right? causing the price to plummet?

The new Google Pay app on iOS is incredibly sluggish -- animations stutter, switching pages has hesitations. I'm not sure what they mean by "quality" in this case.

I'm pretty sure the Spotify limitation is due to Spotify and not Apple. Other apps like overcast can download to audio to the watch and play without a phone.
What stops you from talking to your coworkers casually using any other method? Half my chats are casual conversations, some of which will turn to a call if its specific topic-oriented.

I think looking for a product to solve this may not be the most efficient way to help the mental state. In fact, reaching out to more people into the company is easier than ever now, just a message away.

imagine making 400k+ a year and still not having a place of your own.
Wikipedia has a good summary page which you can skim on a daily/monthly basis

Intersting idea, but I feel you'll have a difficult time with that price tag.

What is your workflow like that a few second delay is a major blocker?

I used to feel the same way early in my career. Now I don’t feel the need to be in a rush all the time.

What tools or apps are you using to track/automate this data?
Re:Ask HN: How are the Apple AirPods? on Thursday December 22, 2016 @05:46PM (#13241081)
I'm wearing them now and cannot preceive any delay. Is there a specific audio file to play to truly test it?
Re:Ask HN: How do you select your ringtone? on Sunday November 22, 2015 @04:20PM (#10611539)
I don't select one, not even sure what my current one is. Phone is on vibrate only and my smartwatch provides enough alert (through vibrating) for incoming phone calls.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but that is a considerable amount of wasted space (Hi, rp1229! Get started by calling or messaging a friend below). I thought my messages would show up there, but nope, they just show up on the bottom similar to other Google sites.
I regularly read about people having complaints about bad experiences at companies. I know there is glassdoor, but I would love a more focused place where we could name these companies so more people don't waste their time with them.
