Would it go away if there was less of it?
Can you imagine ways there could be less of it?
Why isn't HTTP going away?
Where is the 16ms hardwired latency in the browser coming from?
Finally, someone gets it. Thank you!
> we have to migrate everything to javascript
Why?
What I really want is the whole browser to go away.

I wish they had added transactions. It seems like such an important feature.
Does RethinkDB not support transactions? I thought it did.
Did RethinkDB spend $8M in 3 years?

Why isn't Tesla doing this?
In the "Top of the World" graph in the article, there's a dip for Saudi Arabia. Does anyone know why?

> the programmer ends up with less to specify
I don't see how this can be true. Wouldn't there be less to specify if the programmer didn't have to specify types at all?
> I am not a fan of app-generators
Does a compiler count as a kind of app-generator?
This doesn't sound like the full explanation about the security problems of Java applets. It sounds more like a JIT bug. One can fix the JIT to check for out of bounds errors.
What's the real reason Java applets were insecure?
> Languages don't scale.
Why not?
Why are Legos popular? Is it because they're like containers?
