Does this mean they can track the location of specific IMEIs from orbit?

And spread across their 2.6 million customers, it doesn't seem like a lot.

Would the same happen if you ate 800g of positrons?

There's still the issue of what you do with all that salt
As far as I was aware it's the hospitalisation rate is driving the lockdowns more than the mortality rate.
There are some very serious consequences of an ice free arctic. Here is a video from Just Have a Think called "Blue Ocean Event : Game Over?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo3cznpfIpA
I really wish they'd make tree planting robots
Burning trees and other biomass for electricity is not CO2 neutral as much as the UK gov wants it to be. First it produces more CO2 at the stack than coal and then you have to actually replant and wait 40 years.
"If humanity wishes to preserve a planet similar to that on which civilization developed and to which life on Earth is adapted,... CO2 will need to be reduced ...to at most 350 ppm, but likely less than that - Hansen et al.(2008)" [1]

Neutral is not enough. So I hope they will be plowing large amounts of the fund into negative-emissions technologies. Either that or make large swathes of the planet into a disco ball.

Too little, too late.

What's in it for Facebook?

End-to-end encryption is all well and good but until the app stores provide verifiable builds I think promoting messaging apps such as Riot as "Secure decentralised chat/VoIP" is unprovable and therefore somewhat misleading.

And Wikipedia is?

Green washing at a national level. Biomass instead of coal is not necessarily better [1] and the source is very questionable [2].

Re:The Weird World of Vegan YouTube Stars on Friday March 29, 2019 @12:15PM (#19522928)
I've watched many of these videos. These people have put their bodies through hell: 25 day water fasts, eating only fruit for months, high carb/low fat vegan, raw vegan, 1200 calories a day, urine therapy!? then they wonder why they get gut and other issues.

Usually, they then ignore medical advice, especially when it involves taking antibiotics, and try to cure themselves through wishful thinking and more diet. After that predictably fails they are then magically cured of all ills 8 hours after consuming eggs and fish.

They're HAVE got some serious issues and it's not a plant based diet.
