The difficult part isn't rendering the UI, it's the work that's done between the UI and the back end components/services that's difficult. PHP is used for more than just web pages.

I'd say it's sardonic, rather than sarcastic.
Re:Back and shoulder surgery is often worse than useless on Thursday September 24, 2026 @11:37PM (#49839934)
In the 90s my mother went through three back surgeries due to problems she was experiencing, but it turned out she had MS and that was the source of her problems. She had terrible doctors.

Because the app tracks every movement, every scroll and tap, how long you look at things, and reports back with data on all of your activity.

I also read it as Tailscale at first and couldn't figure out why Shopify would want to buy them.

Absurd indeed. Apache httpd server got MPM support two years before nginx was released.

If something can be abused, especially with little to no accountability, it will be abused.

I got the Steam Deck on release. It was a near solid device for me from the get go. Only had the occasional crash/reboot, but I wouldn't describe it as having been clunky.

This is incredibly cool, but would appear to be frustrating to play as it doesn't seem to support strafing, I imagine due to the minimal amount of available buttons.
> Linux does work, but it would be nice if they activly worked on kernel modules for their hardware

Asahi Linux works on M1 & M2 macs, M3 and later are still being worked on. It should eventually get there, but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't see any macs on your site (maybe I didn't look hard enough). Do you need benchmarking results from an MBP M4 Max 128GB?
Re:Apple Introduces iPhone 17e on Monday March 02, 2026 @07:31PM (#47226296)
If they added a lens lock option (like the AE lock) it would fix this problem nicely.

I use Apple News every day, but just for the puzzles. Otherwise it's a garbage app.

Thank you, it's working as expected now!

Did you have to do anything special to get it to work? I tried and it would just bug out, things like respond with JSON strings summarizing what I asked of it or just outright getting things wrong entirely. For example, I asked it to summarize what a specific .js file did and it provided me with new code it made up based on the file name...

It's been a decade and it still hurts that it was discontinued.
Re:Stranger Things creator says turn off "garbage" settings on Monday December 29, 2025 @08:20PM (#46428359)
It really isn't. I keep seeing comparisons to the last seasons of Game of Thrones, but while there is a dip in quality this season, it is no where near as bad as what happened to GoT.
Now if someone could release an optimization like this for the M4 Max I would be so happy. Last time I tried generating a video it was something like an hour for a 480p 5-second clip.

The end users are not their customers. They haven't been for a long, long time.

This sounds interesting. Can you elaborate?

If you want to support them now you can order prints. They have a sponsorship edition that costs extra if you want to extra support them.

Nyet. Jack Vance created grues in the one of the Dying Earth series books.
My kids would routinely put in too much powder, which would gunk up the dispensing mechanism, requiring my time and effort to clean it out and fix it. Eventually the dispenser broke entirely and had to be replaced. We since switched to pods and haven't had any problems with the dispenser. The pods are worth every extra cent.

It's okay to say no. After decades of being the computer tech in my family, I started saying no and have been a lot happier for it.

And Texans will keep losing power during winter storms due to lack of regulations.
