What a poetic headline
You’ve missed the point, but also helped support their point. The comment was about criminals that rape and murder - as in people that perform those actions.

Whether society accurately captures and properly deals with those people is an entirely different subject. The fact society even has to do so is a net negative

As a googler, I believe that googlers should be paid top of market. I love to see my fellow Sundar getting bank

That sounds awful. My hand has to travel to the glovebox, find a button, back to the touch screen, then back to the box. There's no eloquence.

I think the tesla glove box is easier for a driver to open than a manual one. Two rapid taps & it's waiting for you

Exactly, it's super useful & frictionless.

People seem to miss the most critical point. Physical buttons aren't needed when you can focus on the input, such as when a vehicle is driving itself. Physical controls are needed for all non tesla's / vehicles that require attention
Do they really outperform a car while it’s on autopilot?
These comments seem very GPT to me

On the contrary, you can hear Andrej Karpathy explain how other sensors produce noise & are too low bandwidth when compared to vision. Other full self driving systems will probably follow suit & get rid of impossible to calibrate lidar systems. How are the cameras mediocre? Do you want even higher resolution cameras? This would cause compute turmoil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W1JBAfV4Io
Who gathered, organized, and aligned these thousands of workers? Is him being chief of breakthrough innovations merely a coincidence?
So now, instead of websites breaking from browser to browser. My messages will fail from each app? Browsers show how global standards fail and the only thing preventing 99.99% market share of chrome is the walled garden that is apple & safari

I love how you can’t distinguish lI| in that font. Very futuristic to have that relic of the past!

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. A holding company is responsible for the 21 billion. Elon happens to have created & owned that holding company. It's a perfect vehicle for him to allow private investors
That webpage is cancer. I'm not searching for the article amidst a myriad of ads
Re:Ask HN: Find Old Post (missing college courses) on Monday March 16, 2020 @12:29PM (#22594091)
Found it: "The Missing Semester of Your CS Education" https://missing.csail.mit.edu

Ask HN: Find Old Post (missing college courses)

Within last 2 months, there was a homepage link with "missing classes or courses" that college doesn't teach. I remember one section was for using the terminal & bash commands... It basically was courses on things you need to know for programming but aren't taught in college
