"Smart city" sound like a Orwellian dystopia

I would love operating a small ship for my groceries store rather than sitting in front of my computer all day.

Of course we are too busy. Even the last century we didn't work like today.

No electrical light? Not working the night.

No subway? No work if there is snow.

No internet? No remote work.

etc

I like linux myself a lot. But you can't build your opinion on the software based on their linux version.

I just can't understand why Google, with all their different messaging apps, could not compete with Zoom at the beginning of the confinement. Same for Microsoft/Skype. With all their intellectual power they could not make a simple and enjoyable product like zoom did.

By the way it's the same for Slack. Microsoft had a wonderfull and enjoyable MSN service that they killed for the awful skype experience, and Slack take their chance. Slack is just a dumb chat board, it's like living in 2000, just with bigger upload possibilities. I feel there is something broken.

Exactly, that's what I wanted to say. But we are on internet so I use a meme with ironic tone, I was not preaching.
