Booking.com shows the price in official pesos, thats why she charged 200usd as 160k ars, when you pay domestically. She didnt make you a cut.

Cool! Also, have you tried giving some bits of the key to the adversary?
So basically the NN is learning a one time pad?

Your analogy is better if the books or articles are written by the same users, like eg research papers and the editors (like Springer) dont allow the writers to even share their articles on the web.
Relevant info: the lawsuit of craigslist vs padmapper and 3taps: "3taps claimed that Craigslist was a public website, so anyone, including 3Taps always had authorization. The court disagreed with this..." (Wikipedia)

"when a candidate arrives at a company's interview, spot-check them on their understanding of a few of "their" trickier solutions."
The verification burden shouldn't be on the hiring company, it should be Kalzumeus...
Agreed. But I still tought the top category app should drive so many installs that even users launching the app just once should generate more than that. Looks like the the business category is driving less installs than other more popular ones, like games or photo apps...
So, if I understand correctly you've the top biz category app and it's just generating ~100$ daily in ads? Seems a bit low actually :(
ps: would love some support for multiple data-sources per currency: for instance in Argentina we've official dollars but since they're impossible to get we also have sidemarket "blue" dollars...
My problem with this isn't that the advice is obvious, but rather obvious _only in hindsight_:
"The best startup ideas are the ones that seem like bad ideas but are good ideas.",
"the fast-growing market is going to be important but others dismiss it as unimportant"
these aren't obvious at all before they happen, not just for first-time startup people but everyone.
Can you elaborate on those mistakes? :)

And this is not true of the others? I've not seen guarantees against that in any of the other vendors...
Agreed, we do have several vendors and do distribute the workload as much as possible. In our experience when a server goes down the whole data center has problems, so even if it's more inconvenient the best is to really have an assortment of vendors.
forgot to mention our current providers: ioflood for US, and serverloft for EU.

We've video/image processing apps and need powerful hardware with uptime guarantees. Dedicated servers are the most cost effective, no virtual or Amazon SWS. What do you use? Currently we have servers that cost around 100$/mo for a Xeon 1270 with 16gb ram, but the uptime is not that great, downtimes are frequent.
We know plenty of more expensive solutions (for instance for metadata & cdn...
Thanks! Indeed we suspect it's likely like you say---Kindle people aren't app purchasers, but we'd love to see some real evidence. We also offer ad-based free apps, btw, and our category isn't reading & books, it's photography apps.
actually, I'd welcome opinions where s/Amazon/XXX for XXX!=Google Play Store :)

We've developed some Android apps that have achieved some popularity (4M~ downloads in total). We've been contacted by Amazon reps trying to entice us to support Kindle's API. We're not sure if it's worth the hassle, though (would require lots of code patches and separate compilations), so we wanted to ask the community: have you done this? do you have any comparison between Play Store and...
