I guess it depends on what you do with it but the cognitive load of the potential situation that would need all that realestate... unsettles me.

It is. So sorry about that. It was written as part of a "celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week" thing by Stripe and it was suggested that such a title would have more inspirational value. That's no excuse for that title and I apologize.
Move to Berlin and find a decent startup. Plenty of challenging jobs but more importantly you'll find there's a much better work-life balance. It's still up to you to put your time to good use.

little pieces of text(code in general) that I want to remember/have available somewhere but that doesn't really belong in the code's repository. For example a certain solr query that I use to test out different things, or a certain list of commands I need to run every 2-3 weeks to parse a log in a certain way.

Best thing I found so far is this gist plugin for sublime but it still feels like there should be something better out there. Maybe something with tags/categories.
if you want something that scales better use minhash. You get a similarity that is approx jaccard but with a lower footprint memory and cpu wise.

This bugs me. Why do recruiters that contact me over LinkedIn still ask me to email them my CV. There's an export button.
Also, why do London recruiters keep mentioning that "They are based in a very prestigious area of London". Do I level up one social class if I work in a prestigious area?
Never mind those stock options, I have to work in the office overlooking the queens trash bin.
If I were to implement this I'd rather use google's prediction api. At least with that you get a bit of control over what goes into the training data.
aaand... it doesn't work :)

Thing is most of us didn't come there for the prize. Personally I already had an idea in the back of my head, just went in to do an MVP(which I did) and in the process maybe meet some new people. But then ... the cleanberlin guy wins. Felt like ikea winning a furniture design and quality competition.
Also... wasn't it a bit weird how the guy had his wife and his kid just "around"? If I came in with his "idea", I wouldn't expect to win so I wouldn't bring in my wife and kid to witness it.
In case it's not obvious: Push the big red play button.

somebody just mailed me to ask we do a spinoff but with programming languages :)
err... I took the languages list from a wikipedia page, not sure if it includes ALL the obscure languages but I saw something about phoenician, so I'm going to assume we have most of them covered. Problem is finding two people that are interested in said obscure language.
The 24h limit kind of backed me into the lazy corner of using a default bootstrap but I agree.
Yeah, this is a bit of a problem. I was thinking of adding a "suggested time" in the hopes that the few people visiting are at least online at the same time. I also added that notification by email if nobody found thing but I don't really see it as being the right solution.
