Re:Nepal bans solo climbers from Mount Everest on Saturday December 30, 2017 @08:00PM (#16038677)
That chopper was stripped to the bone so that one dude could fly in it, with a fuel time of 1 hour. It also landed on the summit which is more flat. Don't think it would be easily and safely able to carry an addition (dead) body that's probably perched on an incline, let alone carry rescuers. It takes upwards of 6 hours to chip the dead body off the ice (if it's been frozen there for a while)

Re:African comedian replaces Jon Stewart on Monday March 30, 2015 @12:08PM (#9290453)
The BBC Popluar List has that very same title and I thought it was click-baity to say African comedian rather than just say his name - Trevor Noah. I don't know much about his guy, except that I saw him once in QI.

Where is this "A quick history of why Asians wear surgical masks in public" article in the link? I couldn't find it.

I would guess the articles refers to the mostly the Chinese population where air pollution is rampant.

I'd forgotten that Windows 95 used to tell you that.

I'm not a fan of American Football, well, because I'm not American and never got into the sport. I'm glad there is a minimal of ads when I'm watching the Premier League.
