Hey HN I wanted to try out mobile development and felt that React Native was the best way to get started coming from React Web background. So I built an app that I'd use myself and recently got it launched in stores.

It's really impressive how far React Native has come. A mid sized project can be built without writing a single line of Objective-C/Swift/Java/Kotlin and have the same codebase run on iOS, Android & Web. Also the possibility of sharing TS Types & utilities if you're backend happens to be written in Node.js

Redux Toolkit https://github.com/reduxjs/redux-toolkit solved the problem of having too much boilerplate for me. Slices also make it organizing state a breeze.
