How do you define a unit of work for your purposes?
It’s not a proxy war. Not every world event is about the US.

Source: I am an Indian.

1. Generate a story.

2. Make it available for all (major) languages.

3. Profit!

Also, integrate with captcha + rate limit to prevent abuse. Authentication alone is not strong enough deterrent to a motivated adversary.

They are not "ripping" off other's work. The animations are created by the OP. There is nothing wrong in getting inspired by great ideas.

lol, Do you believe every idea you have is entirely original? Also, whats with the hell speak? grow up.

It’s such a hateful and mean comment. OP, please ignore this.

If you want to spend time building your own library, like OP has , and release it , god speed — that is if you can. In the meanwhile, OP actually spent energy to build and launch something, which is commendable.

I am currently at the same place, with no reasonable place out. How did you solve it?

You mean "posterity", not "prosperity" :)

Making high performance teams is part of their job description though, and there is research to indicate that teams with strong social bonds perform better.

Great job shipping. The README / repo however could definitely benefit with a benchmarking report in them.
What kind of red flags?

funny?
> this is Microsoft porting their LinkedIn service from whatever servers came along with LinkedIn, to their own servers

Nope, LinkedIn executes completely independently.

I left my job in July, and took a bit of break to introspect, focus on my health, spend time taking care of my family members, did a few investments, read up a lot and figuring out what I want to do next.

I have just started to talk to people wrt to different jobs, although I am not sure I want to take up another job. will figure it out in due time.

Such an odd 'I told you so' comment in a thread about thousands losing their livelihood.

No need to get nasty.

You don't know him at all, apart from a short anecdotal incident, where even OP does not portray him in a bad light.

Unsolicited advice, but please don't have this mindset towards system failure. More things go wrong than you anticipate.

"fix"
Fair enough. In reality though, its a poor strategy to not volunteer information, if you are looking for a job. It just creates another obstacle.
That is a weird response.

Why can't you post your CV in the 'public domain'? Also, no employer is going to 'hold on to your CV' while you upskill.

Re:How to play with people who are better than you on Wednesday December 04, 2019 @04:20AM (#21700767)
He is playing for enjoyment and recreation. Playing and losing to Steph Curry does not give him that. Playing competitively with his friends does it.
> science is about quantitative measurement

Hard sciences may be, but there are quite a soft science domains such as psychology. We do not yet know exact nature of addiction, but psychological, environmental impacts have not been ruled out, by most scientists.
