try giving the agent number from callmemcp.com so you can pick it up even while driving, let alone knitting.
they wrote a shit article while trying to make some airline puns
My server does basic tts then uses iOS’s call api. just like how whatsapp can call you.

there are ofc server and transcription costs but it is like cents per call. and to keep costs low call itself is not a “conversation” you just tell your instructions and it is transcribed to text and sent back to agent.

Good god. That was an EU thing?
Re:Google's Antigravity Bait and Switch on Thursday May 21, 2026 @10:29AM (#48223265)
Sadly since couple of years or so ago we forgot about UX. Or quality in general. I have a companion which tells me I did everything right before pushing to prod. WCGW
Re:Enough AI Copilots, We Need AI HUDs on Monday July 28, 2025 @01:30AM (#44707492)
One of the simplest and best working applications of AI is the gpts living in your clipboard. Any prompt/workflow you have is assignable to a shortcut on demand and it pops up a chat window with response on demand. It's been game changing honestly.
Re:A 10-Year Battery for AirTag on Friday December 20, 2024 @02:15AM (#42468959)
Good god. Do you see how good things happen when you let people change their fucking batteries?
Demand of people is the only way of inflating the prices. The people who would like to live in Spain, both Spanish people and non-Spanish, are the people who make your country as rich as it is.

Am I hearing you saying "What rich? we have poor economy". Yeah, prevent people from investing in real estate and you'll be even poorer.

Re:I Am So Sick of Leetcode-Style Interviews on Tuesday June 04, 2024 @03:08AM (#40571498)
If I am interviewing someone and if they ask me if they can google X, if it is easily googlable, I would just tell them what it is. Or let them google it. But I do not expect them to spend minutes googling it.

It is really unlikely, given a leetcode hard level problem to solve within 25-35 minutes and you can google your way out of it unless you are googling for the solution.

Everyone is trying to read the tweet but not talking about what it actually means. This tweet is yelling "Look Sam, if you have any problems, come the fuck back. We realize we loved you, even if we wanted you gone."
Re:GPT-4o on Tuesday May 14, 2024 @05:36AM (#40353268)
What popped out to me in the "bunny ear" video, the bunny ears are not actually visible to the phone's camera Greg is holding. Are they in the background feeding the production camera and this is not really a live demo?
Re:GPT-4o on Tuesday May 14, 2024 @03:14AM (#40352473)
it is so similar! almost it is inspired by "Her"

well, potential regions do not include east coast US at all.
Global loss could be due to expanding FCs. Does not mean it is not a profitable business elsewhere.
Re:41 Years in UX: A Career Retrospective on Sunday February 04, 2024 @03:10PM (#39253877)
How can you be happy that you did not join Apple in 1990?
Re:ChatGPT vs. Advent of Code on Monday January 15, 2024 @06:28AM (#38999634)
ofc, chatgpt can do better in previous years given that solutions discussed all over the internet and could've train on them.
not really. in your analogy Elizabeth Holmes already the culprit.

Professor would be responsible of fraud if they learn about it and ignore it.

Re:Polish trains lock up when serviced in third-party workshops on Tuesday December 05, 2023 @09:57AM (#38531631)
Depends on country's laws and contracts between parties. If the contract does not mandate service by the manufacturer, only suggests it, this sounds illegal. Not because of hacking, because of not documenting behavior and disturbing state entity hence the people.
people who fall for scams on phone are the ones who wouldn't hear about news like this.
Re:OpenAI staff threaten to quit unless board resigns on Monday November 20, 2023 @09:15AM (#38348482)

Re:How to find a lost phone in a no-cell-coverage camping site? on Thursday October 26, 2023 @05:07AM (#38023385)
Really would like to know which city this is. As others commented many of the police force would've responded "tough luck"
you have a strong passport and clueless what other people go through.
Re:Googling for answers costs you time on Sunday July 02, 2023 @04:44PM (#36565503)
Definitely the fact that I am not going to deal with ads when I am looking for something is a gamechanger.
Sure, because this does not happen in commercial aircrafts.

Re:Erdogan hands cash to supporters at polling station on Tuesday May 30, 2023 @06:28AM (#36123219)
It is a tradition in Turkey that elders give young ones some money on religious holidays.

I have nothing against this video as a Turkish person opposes Erdogan. Biggest notes he is handing out is like 10 USD as of today's exchange rate. It is just an image of elder person taking care of the young.

Re:Don Knuth Plays with ChatGPT on Saturday May 20, 2023 @01:57PM (#36014080)
I am struck by the fact the Donald Knuth bikes to work at age 85.
