It doesn't run on Firefox, so I can't see what it's about. It also doesn't run on Edge and I don't have Chrome installed, obviously.

You just... dismissed everything they said again.

Re:Makelogo.ai: From idea to $65,000 exit in 3 months on Monday March 13, 2023 @05:05PM (#35142627)
Yeah, I don't believe you sold this for $65k - sorry. You just slapped a website on an AI generator? That's not worth 65k? Also there's no single explanation or hype around the inner workings of the product, which makes this look like either utter nonsense or a complete cash grab.
Re:A Suspiciously Criminal Portfolio Website on Saturday March 11, 2023 @10:45PM (#35116388)
The website ran fine on my S22. It wasn't perfect 60fps, but it did the job.

Nah, I'd just use Discord. Code rendering: check. With different syntax highlighting per language even. Discussion: check. Forums: check. Photo galleries: check. Email notifications: check. Free: check.

Nice! You do have some z-index issues here [0] and there [1].

But will definitely check this out, looks promising. Good luck.

I personally don't have ads on the archive.ph version on my phone. I don't know if others see ads.

Have the ad-free version of this article as well: https://archive.ph/99V0E

My Merino wool socks have saved me from many, many blisters compared to wearing cotton socks. Also they simply don't stink, which is a great addition. Easy to wash, quick to dry, no wrinkles. Perfect for hiking.
Re:Show HN: Parallax wallpaper engine for Linux and Windows on Thursday February 23, 2023 @07:38PM (#34919024)
This is fun, but I wonder how to remove it again? If I just select another wallpaper it instantly overwrites it again with your parallax wallpaper. Fun lil project tho!
Re:ROK – A Decentralized Fiverr on Saturday February 18, 2023 @01:24PM (#34849498)
Appaling design aside, how do you think this will take off? What are you doing to prevent fraud? How are the contracts created? Where are your ToS? Where's your privacy policy? Where's your company registration details? What wallets are supported? What if I want to offer web design and add a service. Why can't I put my price per project/page/hours?

2004 called. They wanted their web2.0 design back.
Re:YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki is stepping down on Thursday February 16, 2023 @02:24PM (#34824327)
Hopefully the new CEO will give a push for more / better live contents on the platform and for a better navigation structure on the website.
quite annoying that the bottom of the pages don't contain a "next topic" link like in most docs.
I hate how I can't react to the YouTube video because I'd love to ask them which version of the self driving BETA they used to test this.
Re:Ask HN: Has anyone ever seen a UFO? on Sunday February 12, 2023 @10:20PM (#34769766)
Yes. Then I whipped out my nokia 3310 to film it and while filming I shaked a lot so I kept the quality desired by the community.
ChatGPT has learned their stuff from old sources. Clearly it's exactly a year behind on facts!
Re:This site was styled by YouTube comments on Thursday February 09, 2023 @08:49PM (#34734597)
I completely ruined all the fun with

* {all: unset !important;}

I'm sorry! (I'm not).

Took me 2 scrolls to find an image probably generated by your tool.

https://www.tek.no/nyheter/nyhet/i/KnWn0G/ai-flause-for-goog...

You probably should make a personal account which limits the amount of images you can generate a month (10?) and a business account which offers unlimited generation but for a steep price.

Does it automatically sync my photos from my Android phone camera like Google photos does?
Innisfree M&A assisted Twitter with its sale to Elon Musk last year, and claims it was never paid despite Twitter saying it “successfully processed” its payment in November.

Re:Webapp.io (YC S20) launches free full-stack hosting on Saturday February 04, 2023 @12:38PM (#34656301)
Thanks, can confirm: works fine now!
Re:Webapp.io (YC S20) launches free full-stack hosting on Friday February 03, 2023 @08:53PM (#34650529)
Your Docs [0] and Examples[1] page, or many [2] other page in the footer for that matter, return a blank page?

[0] https://webapp.io/docs/main

[1] https://webapp.io/docs/examples

[2] https://webapp.io/docs/integrations

Firefox, latest version, no ad blocker enabled. After nosing around in your source a bit, it seems the redirect to https://docs.webapp.io doesn't work for me?

- Install Firefox. To hell with Chrome as it's just a tracking device wrapped in a web browser.

- Install a proper ad blocker. To hell with advertisments in search engines.

- Swap Google for DuckDuckGo.

You need a better browser. Firefox lets you choose which camera you want to use.
