What about wedo and spike? I think they look pretty ok…
Re:Bad software destroyed my doctor's memory on Wednesday August 16, 2023 @06:59AM (#37145240)
These type of software is regulated, and hospitals and clinics can't easily move to a competitor if they are not happy with their current system.

Journal systems "is a thing" with lots of hairy issues such as integrations between different hospitals and primary care givers, privacy issues etc.

These are not really solved yet, (even on a regional basis) and on top of this comes the probably most important thing, UX for the actual users such as doctors and nurses.

Can you provide a link to this interface?

The log package in stdlib doesn’t let you specify levels, just a Printf unless Iam mistaken, and it is not an interface I believe.

I'm on a a (14" 2021) macbook pro with the apple M1 Pro cpu and 32gb ram. I've tried both firefox and chrome.

This would NOT be a viable desktop environment.

The performance is WAY worse than anything I've used for the last 15 years. And this includes shitty 10-yearold no-name laptops using gnome/compiz.

Where would you put Roblox in to this?
Re:Show HN: Influence, a Go-inspired 1-minute board game on Wednesday June 16, 2021 @02:18AM (#27525438)
This was fun, I would really like a online-multiplayer version to play quick games against friends.

Create a "private" board, send the link to a friend and the game is on.

This is awesome, but nmap doesn't seem to work, or am I doing it wrong? downloaded apk-tools-static and installed apk using that, and then nmap.
Re:1Password for Linux beta on Thursday October 22, 2020 @03:39AM (#24855743)

Re:An update on our security incident on Friday July 31, 2020 @02:38AM (#24006264)
what about a phishing attack that involves the attacker talking the target through a login, which also involves the u2f part? and then obtaining the session token from memory/disk instead of username/password
Do you offer some kind of "cron snitch" feature as well?

ie, a backup job that runs at cron, if it doesn't report back I need a "ping" so I can fix it.

Re:Linear – A fast issue tracker on Wednesday July 01, 2020 @04:12AM (#23699104)
I actually got $work to pay for a new desktop computer to prevent me from going insane because of the slugish JIRA and Google Cloud Web Console, and it actually solved it.

My old x260 was not able to run jira/gcp/slack at a reasonable speed due to javascript performance :(

Lenovo will release a x13 with ryzen 4000 later this year.

yeah, I too did not like Fall/Dodge in Hell. However, the first section, about internet hate/bot culture I liked.
Wow, this is pretty... unexpected thanks for sharing.
Re:Little Snitch and the deprecation of kernel extensions on Wednesday March 25, 2020 @12:58AM (#22682052)
Have you tried "Hands Off!" I found it even better than Little Snitch. With that said, I suspect Hands Off! would have the same problem re API's.
Re:WireGuard Gives Linux a Faster, More Secure VPN on Tuesday March 03, 2020 @04:19AM (#22473021)
While we wait for something proper, you can always "patch" it on top of the connection like a quick PoC I made: https://github.com/qzio/w2fau2f

Have you tried qubes-os[0]?

Have you tried firefox's container extension? A more light weight, but easy to use separation of "profiles"
