Because the Republicans will otherwise stop paying Facebook ad dollars
Re:Why Are Rich People So Mean?

Humans are also wired to be less forgiving to those who are going through struggles that they themselves have crossed - this could be the reason behind the rich person deriding someone in need for being poor and not working hard enough

"I feel very unwelcomed because you directly banned me permanently without a warning. I am a moderator of various ML's in the CouchDB project and find this behavior offensive."
Reeks of entitlement on your part, and to be honest forum mods are bombarded with random shit so much that I completely understand why the mod went all kamikaze on you

America's middle class isn't opting for home mortgages either - it has to do with not just affordability but with not wanting to be tied into long-term contracts in an increasingly unstable and dynamic economy. Main Street Revival is also banking on this trend for homes, as customers increasingly just rent. Here's a good read on the trend: https://fortune.com/longform/single-family-home-ai-algorithm...

Re:Mark Zuckerberg misunderstands the threat of TikTok

Tik Tok is almost the new Vine, but less restrictive and more engaging. The biggest assumption the article makes is that even in case Facebook were to try to buy out creators for Lasso, making new content is hard work and Tik Tok creators have spend hours and hours putting together the followings that they have.
It's not easy to convince such passionate and fan-driven folk with built audiences to switch, it's almost as if Vimeo started trying to pay YouTubers to switch to Vimeo.

Not sure that the 'Identify, Test, Build, Measure framework' is yours to take credit for, but other than that, it's a good read!
