The Stormfront is a well known FBI honey pot. Why would people with "moral values" try to interfere with the FBI trying to infiltrate and arrest nazis?
Re:Why We Terminated Daily Stormer on Thursday August 17, 2017 @09:32AM (#15036578)
I find it weird that everyone jumps at Nazis when they do something bad, but when it's police being killed at BLM protests or people getting hit in the head with bike locks and shot at at Antifa protests, no one bats an eye. Why is it okay to leave out Black Nationalists and Communists/Anarchists and solely focus on Nazis? All these groups have blood on their hands.
Re:Why We Terminated Daily Stormer on Thursday August 17, 2017 @09:26AM (#15036531)
Germany is a joke. The fact that it's even considered a country and not a US territory is beyond me.

If you have a US military base in your country you are objectively not a sovereign nation.

>Disagreement Is Treason

Isn't that what the left is doing by trying to silence the alt-right right now? Now that I agree with the alt-right, honestly I despise them, but leftists who call the alt-right fascists and want to censor their views for being "Unamerican" really need to look in the mirror.

Where did he call for hiring more conservatives specifically for being conservative? I think I missed that part.

Actually for some reason I interpreted as "Stop alienating conservatives", but clearly there is no where in the article where he alludes to this, well except for a few dozen times.

Was Apple naming their mobile OS iOS a diss towards Cisco?
Re:Bitcoin Makes Even Smart People Feel Dumb on Wednesday August 09, 2017 @03:20PM (#14972649)
Well, I'm guessing you've never used bitcoin before. Any idiot can understand how to use something like coinbase or an online wallet.

You don't need to know how bitcoin works internally to be able to use it, just as you don't have to read the minix book to be able to use an Operating System.

Because it led too mass-hysteria and a crap load of negative press from both liberals and conservatives. Why would you want to have someone who would sink the company to get someone that they don't agree with fired as an employee?
China would never allow it. A massive influx of SK/NK refugees would absolutely destroy their economy. They also do not want to give the US a reason to gain a stronger foothold in the East, especially with Trump, who has been very critical of China, as the current president.

I'm sure you have sources that disprove his sources. How about you post them.

I hate Comcast as much as the next guy, but I would never choose a government service over them. There is only a few things the government is competent at and one of those is war. But even that is being hugely supported by private companies like Lockheed and Boeing.

>"Spare me the logic" Yup, this is hackernews alright.
Yes, take this for an example, if someone were to deliberately sell firearms to someone that they knew would attempt to murder someone with their firearm, do you think they should be partially liable for the murder?
Re:Martin Shkreli is found guilty of securities fraud on Friday August 04, 2017 @03:34PM (#14931377)
You think raising the price for a drug only used by about 2000 people raised insurance premiums at all?

It's amazing how Europeans expect Pharmaceutical companies to invest R&D into rarely used drugs when they can't make a profit.

Re:Martin Shkreli is found guilty of securities fraud on Friday August 04, 2017 @03:23PM (#14931262)
1. The OP has nothing to do with the price hikes, so your argument might have been true if it was actually addressing a relevant topic

2. It's even arguable that his price hikes hurt anyone other than already rich insurance monopolies. The insurance companies would have had to cover the prices, and any people without insurance could have received the drug for free from their company. And of course the higher profits went into upgrading the drug.

You have no clue what this court case was about, do you?
Elite Dangerous already exists.

Why leave it at American companies? The Dutch East India Company was far more powerful and bigger than any company seen today.
On the contrary, 10 years after HS football and I still have nightmares. I never want to remember those days again.

None of my coworkers are like.

Also, if you want to keep tech weird doesn't that mean you need to reject the non-weird, the "conformists". How is that accepting at all?

How does this have anything to do with OP? The circumstances are completely different.

Yes, I suppose if we redefine the word "art", then technology would be art.

If I sent my child to a coding camp, and found out they were only taught crafts and camped outdoors, i'd be pretty upset.

Maybe the solutions is to send your daughter to a school/organization that teaches programming, not an organization that has always taught children crafts and outdoorsy things.

I have bad news for Germans then. A majority of France's Nuclear Power Plants are right on the border, km away from the old German ones.

Are you sure you aren't the one spewing blatant misinformation? The CEO (and founder) of Amazon owns the WaPo. Although, WaPo isn't owned by Amazon it doesn't take someone of extraordinary intelligence to come to the conclusion that the WaPo and Amazon have a special relationship, considering how they are both managed by the same person.
I report all the vulnerabilities I find to the NSA. Very nice people.
