I just observed , whenever there is a discussion about Common Lisp , some how somebody would inject something about Clojure. Did anybody noticed that ?

  1. Mind Bender (Common Lisp or Haskell)
  2. Social/Internet (Java Script) (Browser/Node.js)
  3. Numerical analysis (Mathematica or Matlab or R or Excel)
  4. Inside the Engine (C/Linux)
  5. Money Machine (I want big salary) ( C++ )

For C++ i would use QT Creator. For scripts such as shell , Python VIM is great.

For One time if you see splash screen its not a problem. But for example if visual studio crashes so often and it makes you see to splash so often then as author mentioned i would feel like i would commit seppuku. They should try caching or something .
