Trading securities (like stocks) is at an all-time high, and so is the number of new investors. I made this tool to help new investors--it nets out the pluses and minuses of each individual stock, ETF and mutual fund, making it easier for investors to do their due diligence before putting their money to work. You'll be asked to sign in after you use the tool 10 times.

we've done a similar experiment--because our garden is on a hill, we created step-like 'beds' for veggies and fruit to grow. the results have been phenomenal so far. the only problem is, moles like this place too... so we've been battling them. highly recommended.
well... i'd much rather fix their deep search so it's as good as google's and not worry about this like this:)
Use the search bar--search the topic you're interested in.
Thanks for your feedback. Just wanted to let you know we ask people to sign in because we also answer users' questions and we want real people using the product. BTW, it's super quick if you use your Google or FB credentials.

Nice work. Who's the data provider?
Half garbage, half true. I think what the author forgot to say, which is really important is, zoom tested their workload on various paas platforms, and they liked oracle's price performance ratio. Also Oracle is so laser focused on big new logos, like Zoom or Slack. The author is obviously an outsider.
I would start with Money Guides for general guidance on managing your money. Or simply ask your question, and if Finny the bot cannot answer it, one of our coaches will.
Hi HN, just wanted to tell you a little but about Finny, the app my team and I created. Finny is a web-based personal finance and investing education and coaching app.
The idea was born out of my own frustration with personal finance and investing media today--there are too many ads and promoted results, so you never know what's the truth vs. yet another ad.
With Finny, we’ve focused on providing clean, unbiased, bite-sized answers to common financial questions that people are searching for. Along the way, we also created a number of money guides and simple investing tools for you to check out.
A heads up: you may be asked to log in if you're asking many questions. We require that because we try to answer most of your questions, so we'd like to make sure we're not getting spam or bot traffic. You can log in quickly using your Google or FB account.

I see this differently. Buyers are given a choice. Choose what works best for you. It's similar to buying an annual subscription vs. monthly installments.
Overall, I like the product... much needed.

I've been on 50+ Zoom calls this past month. Some are work related, some are for my (small) kids (classes + hanging out). Then most interesting Zoom call I attended was when this guy explained investing to six-year olds. I have to say I finally learned what I needed to know about finance--using a lemonade stand example.
Super interesting concept. I don't live in India. How did you validate the market for this? Prices are not low... particularly not for Indian standards.
It's gone up since you posted it. Amazing how they have the number in synch with the title.

That's exactly why you're seeing this new generation of startups who are building high-fidelity content through their own work and crowd-sourcing (like AskFinny for personal finance), because you can't trust Google any more--full of affiliate-led promotions.
