Excellent work with Zig and great documentation with detailed examples. Beautiful syntax.
This employer is living in the 19th century. Cheap and despicable employers getting rich off the back of naive hard working people.
Why not use a package manager to publish a library for a destination?

Then just release a package and reference it whenever there is a change to the target.

Should work well in either a monolith or micro service.

Modern SQL servers implement this
NoSQL is practically useless for succinct and efficient queries

It's all about talking

This is a brilliant result, make this toy broken language compete
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @04:00PM (#15315279)
We've learned JavaScript is a toy
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @03:58PM (#15315269)
Java 8 still has syntactic sugar for generics?
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @03:57PM (#15315258)
It's still ugly
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @03:56PM (#15315245)
It was so ugly

They should be fined
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @03:54PM (#15315235)
Oh don't you worry, that will come and we'll be free of that ugly JavaScript thing.
Re:Bringing the web up to speed with WebAssembly on Friday September 22, 2017 @03:52PM (#15315215)
JavaScript is so 2015, long live C++
Re:The Myth of the Objective on Wednesday September 13, 2017 @05:25PM (#15242846)
Beautiful!
This sounds like nothing new, other than a new way to take money from ignorant executives.
Has Ethereum been fixed since all those DAO hacks?
It will be ironic when these millennials grow up and have children, then try cycling to do the weekly groceries with three kids in tow.

> keeping engineers crowded together like livestock in stables serves as a visual indicator of the inherent superiority of their managers

Bad management and a sign the company is toxic.

With all the DAO hacks and criticism of Solidity, why would one use Ethereum?
Re:Performance Improvements in .NET Core on Wednesday June 07, 2017 @05:43PM (#14510098)
It's very easy.

A very understated company.

Microsoft keeps getting better. Open sourcing so many things.

C# and Visual Studio is a breath of fresh air compared to the bloated, aging and vexing obfuscation called Java (work in both).

Since 1991 Microsoft Research keeps making contributions.

Desk sharing is he worst when you have to think deeply. The talkers never shut up.
It's hard to find an academic-type culture without big egos and ignorance.

Look for teams that have a broad range of ages and experiences. These people foster learning and accept they individually don't know everything.

Stay away from mono cultures.

Managers that are involved parents having ongoing experience raising children are great. People without children haven't been forced to learn patience and compassion...day in day out being a responsible parent is like a good manager.

Microsoft PowerBI
Maybe it's time we stopped doing things simply to become better at them?

That's like focusing on the spelling or formatting instead of quality content.

Too much compliance and suing by lawyers/everyone.

So much compliance, that's the problem.
