Re:Markdoc: Stripe's Markdown-based authoring framework on Wednesday May 11, 2022 @12:53PM (#31342623)
This is amazing. Does this power the Stripe API reference pages? https://stripe.com/docs/api

Or is this only for https://stripe.com/docs, https://stripe.com/docs/payments, etc?

Your Thunderbolt cables don't have the lightening bolt logo on them? I didn't think it was a 'requirement' but every TB cable I've seen always has the thunderbolt icon.

Would add https://useyourloaf.com to your list. Great WWDC summaries, amazing auto-layout content, and just in general one of the better written Swift resources out there. I find things are written in more of a 'production ready' way instead of strictly for a tutorial. Check it out!
Re:Rails 6.1 on Wednesday December 09, 2020 @03:49PM (#25364703)
Does a "delegated type" work with preloading associations, ala "includes"? This remains a pain point with many polymorphic associations in Rails, but not sure how the new functionality handles if, if it does at all.
Re:GitHub for Mobile on Wednesday November 13, 2019 @01:57PM (#21527946)
I’m assuming the iOS app is based heavily on GitHawk (https://github.com/GitHawkApp/GitHawk) as its developer, Ryan Nystrom, moved to Github last year. Looking forward to getting in the beta!
Re:Apple Sign In on Monday June 03, 2019 @07:11PM (#20089942)
According to the App Store review guidelines update posted today, Sign In with Apple will be required for any iOS app that implements a single-sign in button.

"Sign In with Apple will be available for beta testing this summer. It will be required as an option for users in apps that support third-party sign-in when it is commercially available later this year."

Re:Twitter Killing Its Mac App on Saturday February 17, 2018 @12:58AM (#16399295)
Twitterrific is on sale right now in the Mac App Store for eight bucks. Both it and Tweetbot are great native Mac Twitter apps and are so much better than the web interface.
Disney reversed this decision and LA Times critics will be invited to screeners again.

Marvel wrote detailed style guide/explanation and explained their use of the OOCSS style. https://marvelapp.com/styleguide/overview/code-guidelines

The styles and animations are quite similar to the Stripe dashboard, so I would assume it's all internal styling.
Re:Rails 5.1.0 Beta 1 on Thursday February 23, 2017 @07:21PM (#13719426)
I found Big Binary's Rails 5 blog more useful than the Rails 5 readme/release notes. Hoping they do the same for 5.1.

Re:Chris Lattner on Swift on Tuesday June 03, 2014 @06:19PM (#7843077)
According to Lattner himself, looks like the decision to open source has not been made yet.

"@Ahti333 right now we are focused on finishing it up for the final release this fall."

Lex: I'm a hacker!

Tim: That's what I said: you're a nerd.

Lex: I am not a computer nerd. I prefer to be called a hacker!
