And not taking care of the source of the problem? It’s like only pumping the water out of your flooded basement but not willing to fix the leak.

You might not see the benefit directly, but the idea is that we must do this for future generations. If everybody keeps looking at the others, nothing happens. The ones that can lead must lead.

A great alternative is Traefik. We have been using v1 and v2 for several years now in a setup that uses the docker labels for configuration of services.

Yes, prices can go negative if you have a dynamic energy contract.

Please read more fiction. Why should everything be about becoming a 'better' person? Why not enjoy a good story? Unconsciously you will learn something, even from fiction.

Let your garden go wild. Better for nature (insects), hardly any maintenance and helps keep the temperature down in summer.

Not at all. People coming from different industries or stepping into a new type of function description in a different company.

Probably because the housing stock in continental Europe is older and therefor much more often retrofitted with modern electricity. Newly build houses won't have that problem. Although I'm not aware of fire regulations having an effect on the number of outlets in a room, in my region (Belgium).

We host our own gitlab runners. It gives us more punch for less € and it was relatively easy to set up and is easy to maintain/upgrade.

Re:How to pack a Norwegian sandwich, the world’s most boring lunch

This is almost exactly like in Belgium. We do have similar word for på leg which is ‘beleg’ or ‘toespijs’. And we also pack it in the morning, 3 or 4 slices. It is not as beautifully wrapped in paper with in-between papers, though.
Moreover, we have decent bread in Belgium. And it doesn’t come in a plastic bag. It’s more similar to the bread described in the article about bread in the UK seen on HN frontpage some days ago.
I’ve seen people stating in the comments that this is heavy on calories. But that’s entirely not true. The butter is probably soja based, the cheese and meat are thinly spread.
