No, I built it from scratch with the inspiration from ytch

Show HN: If Twitch had actual channels

https://www.twch.xyz/

Yesterday I saw a post that was “If YouTube had actual channels” (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41247023) and I was so impressed with the tech-nostalgia that I thought, what if Twitch had channels. So I made this as a clone. Thanks for the inspiration, and go check out https://ytch.xyz if not already familiar.

To remind everyone how opinionated Brad Frost is, yet writes zero code.
Re:React is the new jQuery on Saturday June 02, 2018 @12:43AM (#17212766)
Brad Frost makes most of his money telling people what they should do instead of actually _doing_ himself.

He's given hundreds of talks all over the world about a component-based approach to style guides in web, but yet cannot fathom the need for React.

Re:Do we need a new heading element in HTML? on Monday February 20, 2017 @05:00PM (#13691382)
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what <header> is for.

You can use this tag in articles, figcaptions, et al

What is up with all of these new motorized transportation things? They seem to be coming all out of the woodworks lately. Gone are the days of walking, seemingly.
Re:Project Euler Humble Return on Friday August 07, 2015 @11:05PM (#10026169)
Do you know who Jeremy Hammond is?
Hey all, I'm not super familiar with python but a friend of mine thought it would be cool if he could have a program watch his directory for changes, and save a copy of his file to an external drive.

Any code comments, suggestions, etc would be extremely helpful.

So wasn't everyone up in arms about WHOIS recently but seemingly uses the service to identify who wrote this script?
