This is interesting. For people with hemochromatosis, I have observed cognitive ability swings as they have their ferritin levels adjusted.

I wonder if they could run tests on regular blood donors as well for those with iron sensitivity and not.

Primarily options trading and golf.

Multi-turn conversation and knowledge system implementation techniques on the side.

How about Carrie Fisher? She's still in Star Wars!

Re:Why I Quit Google to Work for Myself on Wednesday February 28, 2018 @02:46PM (#16486122)
This is exactly why I am going to start my own company in my own name and start being a contractor with my 'employers'. Why be a slave when we only have a limited amount of years on this planet?

This was a fantastically written article. I've learned and been able to explore so much from it.

I still love Google and wouldn't be where I am today without it but it makes a fair point when camparing this time to the early oil industry. It's not like there's no competition against Google, it's just been a fantastic tool and why use anything else.

Re:Ask HN: Using the Computer without a Mouse/Trackpad on Wednesday February 14, 2018 @02:19PM (#16378479)
I do enjoy it but I always seem to gravitate back to using a mouse.

Some sites work very well with just a keyboard for example, using shortcuts on facebook to navigate and interact with posts.

As soon as I interact with other sites and programs that need a mouse I just stick with it from there.

Does age have an effect on salary? I'm not getting paid as much as I should be getting paid for my tech profession..

Re:Is StubHub's Website Deceiving Users? on Monday September 11, 2017 @07:33PM (#15223420)
Where has ethics gone to in the corporate world?

I also came across them displaying say only 4 tickets for what it seems like a sold out event but in reality it was never sold out and the prices were cheaper on the day of the actual event.

I recall seeing something along the lines of the event being almost sold out.

Maybe Stubhub only had 4 tickets during that time so I could be wrong. It is a sale from ticket holder to ticket holder.

I bet Casey already has the new longer lasting battery
