Re:Stripe, Advent offer to buy PayPal for more than $53B on Wednesday July 15, 2026 @05:11PM (#48927049)
Why would you keep any money on PayPal. It’s just a pass-through to your bank account, accepting payments without giving your bank details to strangers on the internet.

Step zero: make energy as cheap as possible... no taxes on it
Yeah, what alternative is there for iOS except the framework that Apple supplies?
They should not make it mandatory for or expect people to have a smartphone.
Just 4 countries are against: Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, and Poland.

Thank you. This is very useful.
Companies are organisations of people that have a common goal.

Yes to make money so they can provide a roof and food for their families.

But also other goals. To invent. To create. To provide goods and services.

People lie.

Humans lie
That is the goal of Wero

Well I was thinking about making a competitor to SPI because they only support GitHub repo’s.

This news makes it easy. I’m starting the engines on this…

Except that parts of the union are not democratic at all.

And in this specific case I kinda of agree with what they banned. And they are definitely not the only ones. Lots of financial institutions block these kind of things.

Also clears the way to control how the digital euros can be spent.

No thanks.

Ideal/Wero is good.

Use my credit cards for larger online payments. Mainly because it has insurance and makes it easy to dispute something.

Last year a large Swedish clothing brand didn’t deliver 400 euros worth of clothing. They said they did. I have nothing. Customer service unhelpful. I disputed it with the bank where I have the credit card. The same day it was fixed.

It is unfair and not useful at all.

If a criminal organisation (include here some countries) want to be deterred. We should all have access so we can improve security of our products.

Because the people that want to do evil, will do it anyway. They will build a myths, fables, and cyber clone.

I dislike the hypocrisy of it. Oeh ah it’s too dangerous, criminals can make use of this. But at the same time they themselves stole a whole lot of data to be trained on.

Does it support testing on all Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS)?
