I can d/l over the air with my iPhone. I can send a map link around as well. I guess you are talking about something else altogether.

All hail Google?

In a year everyone will remember what a nightmare Google really is.

I don't desire flash so much that this matters.
Re:No-Bullshit Guide to Detecting Everything in HTML5 on Monday May 17, 2010 @12:16PM (#1354675)
This crowd has zero sense of humor. This post was meant to be seen in light of all the Flash gnashing and public war with adobe... Sigh. Thanks for the neg karma.

FUCAKING ADOBE HATERS!
Re:Future of Flash on Thursday May 13, 2010 @12:10PM (#1344645)
I concur. Typing on my iPad right now. The main feature request I have is being addressed in OS 4 and will allow other music players to play in the background.

Flash is not needed for probably 90% of the use cases I browse past. It has a place until something else (like plain old code) takes it's place.

Re:Report: The iPad won’t go mass market anytime soon on Wednesday May 12, 2010 @11:02AM (#1341099)
Here is a clue: TechCrunch is a technology reporting tabloid. This article is click bait. Prognostication at this level is no better than picking lint from your navel.
Dumb flash video on the funding page. If they can't get that right ... No $$$
Re:The Argument Against Cereal Grains on Tuesday March 16, 2010 @12:10PM (#1195997)
oh you mean Atkins Diet!

I do believe various humans account for various needed best diets. Simply because our lineage is all a little different. Some people come from the first farmers who were probably harvesting some type of cereal crop. Others come from nomads or hunters...

Just don't be fooled into thinking there is one "diet" to fit everyone.

I sort of (well actually the word is "definitely") thought this whole internet thing was about allowing anyone to PUBLISH - period.

Sort of solves the entire problem, eh?

Don't click! It's ad bait!!!

Only failed twice? The author obviously isn't working hard enough.
Re:Microsoft’s Long, Slow Decline on Saturday August 01, 2009 @09:22AM (#736270)
I have to pick one nit with your comment ... Linux developers miss the point if they think making "something prettier" is the answer.

OS X success is not about "pretty", not in a fonts, colors, and visual design kind of way. I'd warrant Vista is much "prettier" in that regard.

What is "pretty" about OS X is the capital D design of the overall user experience. Achieving this requires deep integration of goals between developers, ui experts, product managers, and yes, visual designers.

Otherwise it will only be like, shall we say, lipstick on a pig (a very tasty and fine pig, or good pet pig if you aren't into the swine flesh, at that).
