Hi I'm Per, the author of Clippety!I wanted a way to turn videos into clips formatted for social media. But the solutions I found forced me to upload the source video which I did not want to do for privacy reasons. So I made Clippety, which reframes, creates captions and adds a search against the transcript so you can easily find and create clips 100% private in your browser.Works best in Chrome...
Several things! But my favourite use-case works surprisingly well.
I have a js-to-video service (open source sdk, WIP) [1] with the classic "editor to the left - preview on the right" scenario.
To help write the template code I have a simple prompt input + api that takes the llms-full.txt [2] + code + instructions and gives me back updated code.
It's more "write this stuff for me" than vibe-coding, as it isn't conversational for now.
I've not been bullish on ai coding so far, but this "hybrid" solution is perfect for this particular use-case IMHO.

What are you building? Ping me if you want a tester of half-finished breaking stuff
Thanks, I have some of the same issues with FF on www.render.video - will look into this ASAP :)

https://render.video
Hi, I'm Per and I spent the last months on this side project. It's a template engine where you can render and export MP4 videos with sound from your browser. No server involved. If you want to try it out, it costs nothing and you don't need an account.Unfortunately it's Chrome/Chromium only for now. Please check it out if you can :)Per
You can take a screenshot and long click the QR to go to the link. At least on iOS. No need for another phone ;)
Not exactly obvious to say the least, but it works.
images.zip was available a couple of hours ago, now it's taken.
From that list you only need React and a bundler, which can be Vite. You really don't need more than that to get started. Please ask, I'll do my best to help you out.
No worries mate. The examples don't have to be ground-breaking or even relevant (for me), but clear so I can see how I can apply Scriptable.dev to solve my specific problems.
And, since you target developers, add as much info as you have. Don't skip messy stuff like "how to authenticate" or similar.
Good luck!
Exciting product. You should describe some common problems people have, and show us how you could use Scriptable to solve them. That's a nice and "easy" way to showcase a service IMHO.
I've read something along this lines before, but cannot find a good source for it. Do you have one?
This feedback is so good that I wanted to high-five you when I read it :)
Yes, yes and yes - I don't disagree with a single thing, they make very good UX improvements.
Will add them as soon as I have some available time!
Thank you for the nice words and that you took the time to explain how and why you found it useful.
Well, that was a use case I hadn't thought of :)
Thank you.
Well, my designer wife needed a way to present ideas and work to her clients.
So I made her this simple tool where she gets a large canvas where she can add images with links and labels.
She then shares the canvas with clients to get fast feedback.

Thanks, it looks exactly like what I'm after. Signed up for the private beta.
Thanks for sharing!
That looks promising, but I don't want to handle any of this myself :/
I want a service where I can start a new VM fast by posting to an API, have it run some long running JS server code, and the VM should close itself when it's done.
My use case is often CPU bound, so a small VM with a single CPU is just fine.
Please reply here if you find out, I'll do the same :)
I need the same thing :) Basically a VM for each CPU-bound process I need to start from a queue. Did you find anything useful?
Does this mean I can spin up multiple instances of _the same_ application on the fly, each running on it's own VM?
For example, we have a queue that handles video encoding. I would like to have 0-N encoders running at the same time, based on demand.
Spin up time is important as well, since I typically provide test renders triggered from the UI.
grep.app is excellent, but I don't think you can search the entire github, on the front page it says "Search across a half million git repos".
You had me at slow burning Breaking Bad. I would watch the hell out of this.

Someone bought the domain after I wrote this comment. Hope they’re working on this idea :)
Someone should make sourceavailable.com - A service that automatically pulls my private repos from GitHub and makes it available as open source to other programmers. A read only version of GitHub, without the isssue/PR overhead.
Code should be easy to read/download on https://sourceavailable.com/username/repo
