SoftBank is technically hedquartered in Japan but it is mostly owned by Saudis.
Around here, all of these would be male with the last vowel removed and female with it.
> Its the conceit of people who refuse to accept reality and their willingness to make everyone else suffer for their phony promises of saving the planet.
Sounds to me like you're the one unwilling to accept reality.
Have you watched the Don't look up movie?
So I guess he is the modern Thomas Midgley Jr., huh?
Yeah, Andromeda has some cool ideas (the whole Remnant thing felt like a very classic Scifi mistery) but it was stuck in classing BioWare cliches with companions loyalty quests and romances, the main character being weird chosen one, the main plot was dumb and it was barely a Mass Effect because of the disconnect from the main universe and missing some of the favorite Mass Effect things (like the Geth).
It might have been successful if it weren't a Mass Effect. Or maybe not, who knows.
Yeah!
These scientists, whose job it is to think about this really hard, why didn't they just think of the most obviously obviously thing? I'm sure they didn't!
...
Dude. Come on.
So what is a good router nowadays? I'm about to buy one and I'm not looking towards this particular rabbit hole.
Except total loss of electricity is not the only case of payment system being unavailable.
Framing IT vs OT differences as a class struggle?
Sir, I think you just invented entirely new type of technomarxism. Sunrise, parabellum!
...
As fun as it is, this has nothing to do with laptops and everything to do with someone not implementing Purdue model right.
Only the FIFA Peace Prize.
This is just word salad. Are you LLM and not a very good one, perhaps?
The Germans had strong economic ties with Russia for last thirty years. That did not stop Russia from starting multiple genocidal wars of conquest.
> Russia's undeniable cultural achievements.
You mean war, genocide, destruction and misery?
> Over here in Finland, we would absolutely love to have peaceful relations with Russia, based on mutual respect and trade. But we're under no illusion about it being possible with current Russian administration.
Russian administration is the reflection of the nature of Russian people. Look at Russian history - it is very unlikely that different administration would behave differently.
Putin is not a blip, he is the trend.
The Eastern Germans remember the old days fondly (you know, before "the West destroyed their industry" and whatnot) while the Western Germany had a national policy of "not provoking Russia" and "accepting its sphere of influence" for basically all of it's existence.
From personal experience I would also say that Germans and Russians are alike in quite a few ways - both are pretty chauvinist societies looking down at other nations, and both have very low empathy. Obviously, there are big cultural differences as well.
How dare you!
Germans are totally capable of their own scams (see Dieselgate or Berlin airport or ...).
That's fair, but then people like you complain when someone "steals" I mean distills openai or anthropic models.
Actually Petr Pavel is the NATO daddy.
Russia is not fighting NATO, much less the entirety.
Russia is also not pushing, they actually lost occupied territory in 2026.
> If it wasn't for the AI we wouldn't even be having this discussion because the linked vibe coded site wouldn't even be built
Which would be good - we don't need AI propaganda slop like this page.
Very suspicious article:
* Clearly AI written text on vibe-coded website.
* Heavily focused on doom and gloom.
* Lots of its points are subtly (or not that subtly) blaming the issues on support ting Ukraine in defending itself against Russian genocidal invasion.
People who live in cities often don't drive that much, so they don't need to charge that often - I drive like 400 km per month, meaning I'd have to charge once a month on most modern EVs.
Also even in the sprawl, people usually don't drive hundreds of kilometers s day.
Driving hybrid still burns gas, generating CO2 which is destroying the world. Why would anyone pick it when EVs are available is beyond me.
I've lost count how many "cloud-native application deployed on Azure" at my job have turned out to be this. Installed by random contractors who have since left of course.
> That's textbook intimidation,
Exactly.
Every time I hear a story of "horrible abuses in UK where people get arrested for talking on the internet" it turns our they intimidated or scammed or bullied someone.
I wonder why people keep lying about it.
Words mean things.
If you decide your words mean something else to the common usage, people will react to that.
Looking at Bucha and all the other atrocities Russians did and saying "but what about my monies" is not a view I can relate to at all. You feel alien and inhuman to me. There is nothing to gain in us interacting at all.
That's harsh but probably fair.
The big irony is, Germany's dependency on Russian gas basically bankrolled the Russian invasion.
Yes. Thank you for perfect example.
I thought the Germans are people like us, but your values are entirely alien to me.
