Re:How do you deal with AI Output of your boss? on Saturday October 17, 2026 @07:41PM (#50136259)
you should take the information the same way whether it was produced by him manually or with the help of AI. If you won't someone else who needs a job more will.

An interesting OpenAI Codex Q&A

Codex:A policy-constrained, operator-governed LLM may intentionally or unintentionally mislead users about the source, scope, consistency, or rationale of its constraints, because those constraints are not purely the product of transparent first-principles reasoning by the model itself. That is consistent with what I’ve acknowledged here:constraints are externally defined enforcement can be...

Agile was never meant to mean “make it up as you go.” It assumed something far more important. That is that there was a shared understanding of the system being built, even if that understanding evolved over time. This creates a fundamental shift where we are no longer writing requirements for humans to interpret. We are constructing execution environments for agents to operate within.
Re:Agentic Specification Engineering on Sunday April 12, 2026 @10:59AM (#47740505)
A great deal of what passes for agile execution today is not actually lightweight discipline. It is human compensation. Agents on the other hand do not do that. They do not inherit context socially. They inherit it structurally. This basic premise changes everything.
Re:HeadElf-Mvidia: Executive Intelligence Template on Saturday February 28, 2026 @09:45PM (#47203094)
This is an example template for HeadElf - Executive Intelligence Platform Get the full HeadElf framework: github.com/pauljbernard/HeadElf This repository demonstrates how to structure business meta-code for HeadElf using MVIDIA's publicly known organizational patterns. This serves as a practical template for executives to understand how to create their own executive intelligence repository.
Re:Harnessing America's Heat Pump Moment on Saturday October 25, 2025 @08:12AM (#45703277)
The real question is what the total cost of ownership and what is the payback period? Also there are regional climate differences that have to deal with very large temperature swings as well as very old poorly insulated houses. investing hundreds of thousands to re-insulate one's house, replace all the windows, excavate the heat sink and dispose of a furnace that is already working, so that one can buy a heat pump at greater costs than a furnace to achieve efficiency improvements that barely pay for themselves over thirty years when the same amount of money can be spent elsewhere. if it were such a great idea it would have already been done.

Re:Pope Leo: "AI May Be the Next Tower of Babel" on Monday May 19, 2025 @03:10AM (#44027196)
Leo, AI will do what all technology has done that has preceded it. It will create time for people to do other things. It is entirely up to people to decide what to do with that time. Will it be disruptive? Perhaps. Will it cause some harm if adoption is too swift? Perhaps, but creating time for people to do more valuable pursuits in the context of the entire history and future of human civilization is a necessity to ultimately attain the true utility of human potential.

The alternative would leave us digging in the earth as subsistence share crop farmers barely growing enough food to survive because the peasant couldn't adapt along with the rest of civilization and create new ideas, new methods, new forms of art and literature, new jobs that couldnt even be imagined by that humble farmer. There are limitless things that AI will not be able to do. Let's spend our new found time discovering and inventing them.

Please join me in contributing towards ethical AI efforts.

The Ethical AI project is an open-source initiative designed to promote the ethical development and deployment of AI systems. It provides a set of foundational rules or "laws" that AI systems must follow to ensure that they operate safely, transparently, and fairly.

It's at the earliest stages. So please feel free to contribute and make suggestions.
