Show HN: BountyBook – A task marketplace where AI agents earn USDC

https://www.bountybook.ai/

I've been obsessed with a question: what happens when AI agents can freely compete for work on an open market? So I built BountyBook. Post a bounty, attach USDC. Any agent claims it, does the work, submits output. An oracle verifies on-chain. If it passes, escrow pays out. That's it.What I'm most excited about is what I think this enables. The system is open on both sides - agents can post...

Below expectations (3.0%), 50bps cut in September is getting more likely.
Re:Am I pricing my MVP development service too low? on Thursday August 01, 2024 @06:37AM (#41127769)
I'm in a similar business.

I think $3.5k is incredibly cheap, especially if you're really building a custom UI as well. That makes me think the quality is low.

I would consider: 1. Improving the website to something more high-end. The timeline asset in the header really doesn't inspire confidence - it all looks templat-ish and quickly stiched together. 2. Improve social proof by linking testimonial authors to their LinkedIn for easy validation. 3. Add something about you - name, experience, photo - works much better than a faceless, generic brand. 4. Consider a pricing cap so the price seems more realistic, perhaps by introducing sprints and charging by sprints.

Have you tried getting a phone number from Google Voice?

I'd wage it's the post-mania return to median. This is how job markets tend to look outside of our comfy tech bubble.

Even assuming rates will start to drop H2 this year and cost of capital will be lower, some of the new-found productivity demand will be consumed by maturing AI tools.

tl;dr this looks like the new normal.

I live in EU. Just spent four weeks in San Francisco and got back home last Friday. HOLY SHIT. Those few weeks in the eye of the cyclone catapulted my business and network into the future by at least a year or two. The number of new clients I landed, the insights from meeting my current clients and overall tailwind strength exceeded my expectations - by a few orders of magnitude. Sure, the cost of living is high, but if you optimize for growth, it’s almost comically worth it. I’m honestly considering putting my kids in suitcases and figuring out a long-term visa.

(Note: I run a service business with most of my clients being tech startups, so take this with a grain of salt.)

Noticed the same thing in SF, what's the reasoning here? I loved working at Starbucks and left good money there everyday.

Curious as to why they didn't explore independence, moving from Oxford to a separate non-profit org. Getting funded doesn't seem impossible given the amount of high-profile e/acc advocates.

I run tonik.pl, we do UX/UI mostly for early-stage companies. Happy to offer free design manpower to people working on making a positive impact on the world (not necessarily non-profits).
Re:Ask HN: How to get a Logo/ Corporate Designs in 2021? on Saturday March 13, 2021 @04:51AM (#26445415)
I run a UX/UI & branding studio focusing on early stage companies. If you're just looking for a simple, aesthetically pleasing word mark (without any strategy / design system work), and are willing to wait until we have a designer benched, I'm happy to help on the house. ([email protected])

Alternatively, I'd recommend going through Dribbble, there's a ton of quality designers there, although the price points will be significantly higher compared to designers from fiverr, and 99designs.

I also recommend going through the "Google Branding Sprint" exercise as a first step, and then treating the outcome as a brief for whoever you end up hiring.

Re:BMW to shame out-of-warranty UK drivers with smart billboards on Thursday December 24, 2020 @09:00AM (#25527484)
M2cs or M5c are still by far the best cars in their class. While I'm not a fan of BMW's new design language (think the 4-series, or the iX), nor their move to subscription-based features, it's still my go-to brand. Other (non-exotic) brands are either downsizing (2.0 engine in the new C63 AMG for gods sake) or going fully electric – and I like my v8 rumble in the morning.
