Re:Write Compiler Front-Ends for LLVM with Lua Using Mewa
on Saturday June 05, 2021 @12:23PM (#27406334)
Mewa tries to optimize the amount of code written. It targets single authors that would like to write a prototype of a non-trivial programming language fast, but at the expense of a structure supporting collaborative work. It is a pragmatic approach that brings the implementation of a prototype of a non-trivial compiler front-end for a single person within reach. In the examples of the project, you find a complete implementation of a non-trivial general-purpose statically typed programming language with structures, classes, interfaces, free functions, generics, lambdas, and exceptions as a proof of concept. An FAQ tries to answer problem-solving questions.
This Codeproject article contains a tutorial and discusses a primitive compiler as an example.

Strus is not a self educational attempt.

The were 3 crashes on that day. This is of course not a good situation. We have to find out what happened. The search was down for half an hour in total at least. Please try again!
