I feel the strong need to point out some of these settings will break Firefox in subtle and hard to understand ways. There’s a reason you “void the warranty” when tweaking the about:config preferences. No rule against it, but just watch out. (Mozilla employee)

Ah yes, they should re-assign all their generic swiss-army engineers from VR to Security.

Mozilla is a global company. It would have been nice to do the right thing and inform all the people affected before a public announcement, but people love to leak when they've already been let go. Shame that people might have learned they lost their job from a news site because their colleagues didn't respect a confidential memo.

Responsible disclosure and proper handling of passwords as well as not storing credit cards. Barring no breach at all, this is about as well as something like this can go.
