Same here with Godot. I was impressed that it could make an entire working project in one shot
Yeah... I'm in the 3-year-old stage and oh boy... it can be really tough. But lately I bought some kids' board games (HABA) and we can enjoy them together — not always, and it's not the same as playing with peers, but I can see it being like that in the future. And the experience of teaching, for me, not being a teacher, is really educational and transformative.
It's also normal, and okay, to feel down about being tired and feeling like you can't do everything at once. Because that's how it is — you can't do everything at once. You have to choose, and a lot of the time the depression comes from the conflict of having to give up things you want to do.
And what can also help is talking to your partner or to a friend who's also a parent. And realizing it's normal to look forward to the weekend being over so you can sit down and work on the thing you're good at and know how to do... unlike dealing with our kids, who are always creating problems we don't know how to solve.
Maybe the problem is trying to satisfy the wishes of someone who doesn't know what they want, because they're under 6 years old!
What worked for me to make the experience of raising kids better is paying attention to the small things they notice. For them the world is a completely new place, and if you can get in tune with that, you can rediscover the world all over again from another angle. Talking with my son makes me see everything differently — they're great triggers for creativity.

Writing about what things aren't doing the thing is not doing the thing.
This is the confirmation that AI is a bubble...
This is it. Switch to uv!

> My Dad lost his Dad at the age of 34, which is no age at all in the grand scheme of things. By contrast I still have my Dad at the age of 60, which has meant an extra quarter century of guidance, support, advice, love and always being there. How lucky am I?
I lost my father when I was 30. I thought I’d been lucky because I’d had him through my “adult” life. Now I’m 40 and have a 2-year-old son, and over these past ten years I think it’s when I would have most liked to have him — when more questions came up about what he was really like as a person, beyond his role as a father. He died at 72 from lung cancer; he had been smoking since he was 13 and never went to the doctor. I guess I was lucky after all…
I think this nails down the job perfectly in my experience.
And the most valuable trait it's being a good translator, and not just for this job but almost anyone.
Yeah well... thats what england used to do, invade, put their own people to live there and then ask them if they feel like beloging to the crown.
You can ask Ireland.
Islas Malvinas are Argentinian.
It should be required to run these tests for these libraries.
It's really frustrating to have to discover it trying to make it work.
Does this support full flexbox styling?
What are the known issues or the unsupported css this library has?
He said the opposite, I read it wrong the first time too
Hi!
Why did you decide to go with Godot instead of Unreal or Unity?
Are you happy with your decision?
