Right now on my phone, the entire home page is different than on my MacBook on the same network.For example item 14 is about Bluesky but on my MacBook it’s about linoleic acid.Item 1 on my phone is “using the railway network” while on MacBook it’s “foundational refinement proofs”Why is it so wildly different on the same network? It’s a completely different list of articles.
Assuming they were any good at it. They can’t even figure out basic product design.
You cannot have the purchase funnels you describe without better UI/UX. Amazon’s is abysmal.
Very often people leave Amazon and boycott them entirely (like I do) because the experience is so awful across the board.
I don’t believe they are “guiding” anyone to anything. Amazon only became profitable after COVID when they forced everyone to shut down so we had to use Amazon. Everyone noticed that and remembers.
You put them on a pedestal.
