If they are in the same city you could ask the city to rename your street 123 My Street South or something?
Democratic processes are good because it holds those in power accountable for their actions and should not just be hand waved away as if it doesn’t matter.
And no, what Hamas has done was not mentioned, all that was said was ‘the actions of Hamas’. What actions - did they hold a bake sale? It is unclear and minimized.
Not once did you mention what atrocities were committed on Hamas’s side and instead you spent all your effort justifying Hamas by arguing how you think Lukid is worse.
What actions in your opinion would be an appropriate response for people (& government) of Israel to respond to the targeted rape, murder, beheadings of the elderly, men, women, and children, which was filmed by Hamas and sometimes live-streamed on the social media accounts of their victims to show off what they have achieved?
I’m not sure you can claim to be in the middle or support ‘both sides / both peoples’ when you only have bad things to say about one of them.
I think this means Sam is pushing for OpenAI to be acquired by Microsoft officially now, instead of just unofficially poaching everyone.
> Helen Toner & Tasha McCauley are working with OpenPhilanthropy/Anthropic on GovAI board (former board member Holden Karnofsky left when his wife started to get involved with Anthropic)
These seem like much larger conflicts of interest (working with direct competitors) than working on a company that one day this company might want to purchase a product from.
The board was anemic, lost people and didn’t replace them, and then was small enough that you could fire the chairman of the board and then remove the CEO in a friday night massacre.

I believe the Apple Silicon dev kit ran on a A series cpu, might be the entry point to try to investigate, especially if a boatloader exploit is found.
Great song though
There is a lot of talk about Truth Social violating the AGPL license.
If it it a work in progress and not yet public, do they need to share their source code, or do they need to share it once they launch?
Then Apple will need to include drivers for the card in the OS (AMD drivers in MacOS typically lag 9 months from availability of the card for Windows) or alternatively NVIDA would need to write new drivers that Apple approves of, instead of shipping the same binary blob to all three platforms (the NVIDIA drivers were very buggy on MacOS).
Will Apple and AMD / NVIDIA strike up a partnership to do this? Not sure why they would.
I expect NVIDIA to have ARM friendly GPU’s on Windows before AMD though, given their interest in the space & SOC’a they make.
It will be interesting to see if in PC / ARM land if standards arise for motherboards, plug and play components, or if we will only ever sell & buy completely integrated systems.
Would like to see some benchmarks with that sort of hardware or with a 6900XT, driver support which came to MacOS only recently. Now I just have an M1 Mac Mini & a PC with Nvidia.

Bezos should spend (or not spend) in ways and things he values, to maximize what he gets out of what he’s earned.
(P.S. libraries compete with his book selling business! Why wouldn’t he rather sell a ‘library pass’ on a kindle for a monthly subscription?)
Having nerve isn't just a privilege. It's a skill you can learn. Same with decision making skills, etc.
I was very upset when I realized there wasn't paint available (at leas the way I configured it).
(I don't mean to be so dismissive, but a lot of people still don't have access to the internet and the technology and services, and they way they get that infrastructure built is through nation states.)
(Unless you're ISIS)

Look at the fisheries in New Zealand or Alaska for examples of very well managed fisheries.
In many developing countries it's not a tragedy of the commons problem, it's a structure/stability problem. How can you ever have managed fisheries without political stability, or with stability but rampant corruption?
How can you have political stability without economic stability and food? It's a chicken and an egg problem.
