If you needn't to work, what would you do?
Assuming you needn't to stay in your daily job but could keep some basic living standard, what would you do?Founding a company? Teaching? Playing with kids? Joining politics? Consultancy? Nothing?

I do understand how do you feel. I quit my PhD, it was crazy.
Then the life was better, having normal jobs. Now I have another very difficult situation in life and there is no chance to get professional help. At least some friends are helping.
If you are from south Germany, let me know, we can grab a beer and talk. The life will be better again!

Amazing work, about amazing devices. I owned Psion Siena and Revo and both were much ehead of the competitive devices. And i remember installing some tool for keyboard localization, that used some low level hacking to achieve that. What a great time .

yeah.. I was recently reminded of the consequences of possible gap in my CV. Such a bullshit - it's like a slavery with an extra step.

There is one major flaw in the presented approach. The base of any hearing aid is frequency compression (in each frequency band), as the hearing impairment induce, that a patient loss the ability to hear the soft sounds, but the loud sound cannot be amplified, as the threshold of pain remains the same. Usually, the gain curve resembles two linear lines. ... and not only pictures. it is standard to include your birthday and nationality in your CV in Germany.
And sometimes, the early career applicants adds the employers of their PARENTS in their CVs !!!
