Soylent has been unavailable in Canada since October: https://faq.soylent.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005267426
How do astronauts combat nausea in space? Practice. I personally don't expect a technical solution to this any time soon. We just have to acclimatize ourselves.

By using a USB-C connector for power, you add a free port whenever you're not charging.
I did not realize that FF had mobile addons. Time to switch.

Anyone have more details on the netcat file transfer trick on page 9?

You would want to confirm the data received matches the data sent somehow right?

I think it's pretty valuable. I would rather talk to my phone to send a text message while driving rather than pick it up and cause an accident.

For niche cockpit genres like simracing Oculus is probably the better buy. Comfort is king when you're trying to run an endurance race.

Personally haven't tried Oculus, but the Vive does get really heavy on the face after 30 minutes or so.

Re:Introducing Soylent 1.6 Powder on Sunday June 26, 2016 @06:07PM (#11983009)
Soylent powder isn't that clean anyway. It's much easier to wash a bowl than to clean your counter and scoop after making a Soylent meal.
That's not what got me. I don't care about the brand too much, and most of the games I was interested in were supporting Oculus first.

When I read about Revive adding Vive support to Oculus games, I ordered a Vive as well and would keep whichever shipped first. Oculus had my order for 2 months and hadn't done anything; The Vive shipped within a week after putting in an order. That is what killed Oculus for me.

It's a personal project that the author didn't expect anyone would ever look at. He's also a journalist, not a software developer. It's an accomplishment that he had the determination to complete his project, even if it is rough around the edges.

That is probably one of the main reasons why privately run servers are so popular with this game. (I don't play the game, that is just my impression)

What is RunUO and what makes it so great? It looks like it is a utility that launches the game?
