Why 50% and not 100%? The obvious answer is it creates strange incentives. Maybe something like 5% across the board for all large tech companies make sense?
I understand where you are coming from but I think that it is not always helpful to place everything on one administration. Calls for unity and a strengthening of the rule of law are what matter. Trump will be in for 4 years whether you like it or not, the long term protection of the rule of law should be highest priority and this case shows how it has been eroded over the last few years.

I think solar is only cheapest at point of production. Once you factor in transmission costs, grid congestion, intermittent supply, etc. Solar is still expensive at point of consumption.

It's not to argue directly against your point but just that we still have a lot of work to move over to a sustainable electrical grid. And that will be helped by favourable policy

Where did you read about Chris Kaba? I've only read a few quick articles on the topic and they didnt give much useful detail about the case

It says on the website that it shows 800 000 out of an estimated 8 million, so it shows just 10%

I guess it is because of information like this that most people in the world do not trust the US justification for fighting a war with Russia in Ukraine.

I wonder how long it will take for similar memos to come out relating to 2014, Nord stream, etc

Do you have any book recommendations for API design? I'm working for a company where data management was a mess and we have loads of systems that should be connected but are built completely seperate.I'm looking for resources to help design a big change and move loads of systems over to APIs
