Show HN: Daily collider game with provable speedruns

https://anybody.gg

The entire game is modelled in both p5.js and as a zk-snark in circom which means that you can create a proof that you played the game according to the rules and just submit your final speed/score and that proof. This allows the game to be safely run on users' machines instead of a server without the need to screen for fake scores.https://anybody.gg is the...

Ask HN: What's the Best Non-Apple Web Dev Computer?

My last two computers over the last 10 years were both macbook airs and did their job gloriously. I've just bought the new 2018 model with 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for $1,800. I'm a week in and the fans get just as loud as my previous 5.5 year old 2013 model and the chasis gets even hotter when having a video call. 35 euro: for private use in applications, social networks eg Xing, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc.

80 euro: You acquire the full rights of use to use your portrait commercially eg for websites, brochures, business cards, publications in books or magazines, all without time and space restriction.

The subsequent use and abuse of them feels totally believable. The lack of singularity doomsday hype reminds me of an interview with Jeff Hawkins and Donna Dubinksy on Recode: https://www.recode.net/2016/6/27/12037248/artificial-intelli...

I've actually been interested in affordable laptop rentals for a while but haven't found anything worthwhile, mostly lease to own. Has anyone encountered this done well yet?
playok.com might be a good reference. it has all the bases covered and a great balance between simplicity and features, plus an active community. I played your othello bot and it was really easy, maybe you could use some of the open source othello programs like edax to make a more challenging computer? http://abulmo.perso.neuf.fr/edax/4.3/index.htm
