After a year of iterating the app with real clients, we are now celebrating our full release! To mark this milestone and as it’s the new year, we’re offering a free month of personal coaching to start 2022 on a high note!
How it works: you’ll be assigned an accountability coach from our team who you’ll connect with in the app.
Your coach, an experienced accountability professional, will get to know you, your background and the areas you'd like to work on, agreeing short and longer term targets. Then your day-to-day support begins:
1. Each day you'll be prompted to enter your top daily goals. 2. At the end of the day, you mark which goals and habits you accomplished with any notes, pictures or videos. 3. Your coach will check in to see how you did, give you feedback and help plan the next steps.
They'll also help you implement science based behaviour techniques to drive lasting change. You can use it to keep track of your daily goals and exchange feedback, advice or support with your assigned coach.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
This is my first open-source app, I wrote it as a side project from my main startup that I'm trying to get off the ground. I've always been really into productivity and making the most out of each day (even to the point of tracking every hour over the past year) and figuring out when I'm making progress and when I get distracted or side tracked.
So I came up with the idea of an app that would ping you at random times through the day to check whether you're procrastinating or not, and if you were, ask you to log the reason why. My idea being that being aware and tracking something could help you step back and figure out the reasons it happens. I've read studies that those who are prompted to reflect each day on something (eg what they ate and why) tend to do better, so hopefully this app helps in a similar way.
The app itself is free, there's only a couple links to my main startup in there that you can ignore. I plan to add more login types (eg email or none) later if there's enough demand. The logins are for cloud sync so you can use on multiple devices or in case you lose a device.
For tech stack, I'm using React Native and Firebase, since these are the tools I'll be using on my main project too.
Appreciate any feedback or requests!
