Combined with TTS, this can give a voice to people with certain types of mutism.
Full type checking like in Askama and hot reloading of templates would be a great combination. Is that a feasible path with your project?
The sound that a frog makes is 'kwak' in Dutch. And that is also the name of this bird which makes a similar sound. Onomatopoeia for the frog predator.
The many frogs around my house are identified as black-crowned night heron. I was very excited for a while since that bird is not common where I live.

What's your opinion on nominatim? I find that it gives up quickly when there's one or two typos in an address. It nails your examples.
In the current version of /e/OS, Voice to Text runs offline.

I was not aware of Murena forwarding data to OpenAI. I'm sympathetic to Murena and their partnership with e/OS/. I looked up what it is about. /e/OS 3 uses OpenAI for Voice to Text. This is the statement where they explain this:

> To implement this approach, we chose to use the OpenAI gpt-4 transcribe API that has been designed for this purpose, is cost-effective and efficient.

On my /e/OS phone, I've installed Whisper+ voice input and disabled 'Murena Voice to Text'. I never use this features.

Deze vuist op deze vuist. Deze vuist op deze vuist. Deze vuist op deze vuist. En zo klim ik naar boven.

You probably need to see a video or gif to get it.

The value of writing an AGENT.md might be more in the writing of project overview than in the subsequent ability to run an LLM on the project.

That means going back to disabling Javascript or only allowing widely used, well-maintained Javascript libraries.

Does something similar exist for buildings and Bonsai or FreeCAD with IFC?

NLnet Labs was started by NLnet but now independent.

https://nlnetlabs.is.not.nlnet.nl/

Funding for NLnet Labs is largely from paying customers for development of DNS software.

NLnet funds development of the full stack of communication technologies from chip design to office suites. Funding for NLnet comes from public institutions, private companies and citizens.

code.overheid.nl points to 62.59.196.156 which is in the Odido ASN.

Checked with `host`, `dig` and hosting-checker.net

There has not been a single action or communication from government that indicates that they are preventing the ID system from ending up under USA jurisdiction.

Parliament has asked government with near unanimity to prevent this from happening. Government has not even acknowledged that this should be prevented.

This map shows that the Dutch municipalities are nearly all in the Microsoft cloud.

Their plan is to do nothing to stop the transfer of the system to a USA company. By doing nothing, they are making this happen.
Re:Soft launch of open-source code platform for government on Wednesday April 29, 2026 @06:07AM (#47946251)
The sale could be stopped by government. The ID system might be moved to a different company. The government could by the part of the company that hosts the ID system. None of these measures are being taken.

The result is that the information needed to log in to all the important government systems becomes subject to American jurisdiction. Foreign agents will be able to authenticate themselves as any Dutch citizen and act on their behalf.

Re:Soft launch of open-source code platform for government on Wednesday April 29, 2026 @05:56AM (#47946191)
The government still plans to place the authentication system of all Dutch citizens in USA hands.

And interestingly, code.overheid.nl runs from a residential ip address.

Doing home automation of lamps, sensors, speakers via PoE would be great too. It should faster and more stable than Zigbee/Wifi and with no need to change the batteries often.
and software.
Awesome!

And next, hopefully, replaceable software.

Which will do much more for phone longevity.

Working at the Mind Chess Café is an interesting job.
Nextcloud does not provide hosting, only 3rd level support. So any commercial hosting of Nextcloud will be done by other companies. There are many companies to choose from.

https://nextcloud.com/partners/

Personally, I would only choose companies that are listed as a partner because then I can see what level of support they buy from Nextcloud.

Do you have a reference for that number?

It's hard to get numbers on what countries pay to Microsoft. The Dutch parliament has repeatedly asked and has not gotten numbers even though there is a whole agency since 2014 (https://www.digitaleoverheid.nl/overzicht-van-alle-onderwerp...) specifically for giving Microsoft preferential treatment in procurement.
